Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1452 steps (not bad, considering I've used Sparkless3 nearly all day); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Marvel Of Creation'; thirdly, TWFT topic's "Speak 'Life' (2)" and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Singing Scriptures' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ONE HOUR and TWENTY-THREE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 226TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, awesome sleep last night! Originally, I was too excited about the Toastmasters conference today and couldn't fall asleep so already used the pot :P for one tinkle before midnight since I'd not fallen asleep yet; Mini Pearl offered to knock me unconscious but I told him PIG mum would get cross @ him and erase all his pearls so instead Mini Pearl just sweetly sang me too sleep. XD
- I was awake but not awake enough to know that I was awake when dearest dad came to gimme some eye goo @ 7:15am, saying fifteen more minutes now and you can have ten more minutes after Sharon arrives before getting up.
- Sharon came and said ten more minutes after I'd counted down the initial fifteen more minutes; I spend that time beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- When she comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Surprise! I've not seen Sharon for a while (she's only twenty-six but doing her Masters in IT) but she remembered to bring me a tall cup of water! After drinking that I sit over the loo and do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
