Saturday Post 626b

 Heylo again and good evening! Firstly, Em's new plodding total for Saturday now stands @ 1743 (so yay I'm over 1.5 ground but doubt I'll reach two grand before tonight ends XD) and secondly, Joni's devotional topic's 'Party Spoiler'. Anyways, continuing today's events?

• After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Sharon's car, she kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt (as she kindly does both ways) then tootles us off to 4EB!
• We make good time and find the building without problem, score! Only the building looks pretty small ... classroom size? 
• Also, the disabled toilet seat's loose; when Sharon wiped it down for me, the whole seat nearly fell off! Hence why Sharon said just sit straight down and pee; don't move. XD I've messaged the Story Bridge Hotel and asked them to please stick it back down. XD
• The conference took so long to start I asked Sharon please to take me to the loo once more first!
• Some guest speaker gave a test speech about his first job working in radio and then the first comp was evaluated immediately! I kept a running commentary for PIG mum~
• Then the humourous speech contest was hilarious!
• When we broke for lunch, YA @ QUT all headed down to the Story Bridge hotel but only Sharon and I went inside to eat; unsure where all the others went.
• Too bad the lunch special was lamb, eww! Instead, Sharon ordered a hamburger, and I ordered a roast chicken gravy roll, which came with chips! After we found a table outside, Sharon went to get table water for us, and I told the parents our lunch.
• But our meals took a while before arriving, so after Sharon snapped my lunch photo for me, we headed back into 4EB.
• While waiting inside I started munching my delicious roast chicken with gravy roll. After the contestants were all ordered out, I continued eating, since I'd drawn to compete last!
• When 'twas finally my turn, the contest chair asked me several questions before saying the topic: if you could change one thing in this world, what? I immediately answered get rid of my disability; what I would give to be whole again! Then I diverted into talking about chocolate and world domination but remembered to get off once the yellow light came on.
