Monday Post 514c

Good afternoon! Em's new plodding total for Monday now stands @ 3117. Righteo, continuing today's events?

  •  After washing and drying Era, I sit outside the bathroom until the parents are ready to leave. I climb into the backseat and buckle my own seatbelt. Dad tootles us off to the airport, but we don't get very far since PIG mum suddenly realises that she left her mobile @ home!!  >< Not a very auspicious start, right?? XD

  • Thankfully the rest of the trip goes smoothly. Dad unloads us then goes to repark the car; PIG mum sees me seated just inside the entrance then goes to check in. While waiting for them, I slowly, softly but most hatefully sing about 1/4 of my shorter second-favourite  song out aloud since I won't need to do that much while PIG mum's overseas.

  • Dad comes back first and starts walking with me to the bathroom; PIG mum joins after she's checked her luggage in. Lol, the toilets @ Brisbane aren't as fancy as the ones in Singapore; while they've finally got automatic soap and water dispensers and hand dryers, you've still gotta manually flush them! XD

  • After sitting outside the departure gates for several minutes; 'twas time to say bye for just over three weeks! Lotsa hugging and kissing~ The only disappointment's that we couldn't see PIG mum afterwards since the airport's undergoing renovations right now and everything's boarded up!

  • Can you believe it; that short park for like thirty minutes cost twenty-five bucks! Once dad had left the airport he pulled over somewhere and we had a quick videochat with PIG mum, who was waiting to board.

  • Back home, we immediately rang PIG mum again, who was boarding soon.

  • Bettina arrived @ the same time dad summoned me for lunch!

  • Eventually I had like two/three mouthfuls of two-minute noodles with like a piece of fried egg and two little pieces of luncheon ham but first had to eat my way through like a MOUNTAIN of boiled soup carrot and lettuce.

  • Lunch was washed down with one cup of water; after taking the cup over to the sink I used the loo for one tinkle then plopped online.

  • Jane's minding me from 4-6pm; looking forward to reading for one hour and hoping to watch the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 218TH time when she leaves!

  • Toms: last week was probably the most relaxing week of 2025 for me: NO PHYSIO! XD Unfortunately, Peggy's coming toms @ 9:30am and taking me to Breathe for physio.  *sigh*

  • Presuming we're getting my once-weekly crunchy pork bahn mi from the Pinelands Bakehouse plus buying whatever groceries dad wants before coming home for a shower but unsure why Peggy's staying till 4pm?

  • But looking forward to my most important two hours of the day online, hoping to read for one hour then watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 219TH time!

  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing day toms!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
