Good evening! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2652 steps (ha, I'm over 2.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Reviled Here, Rewarded There'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Be Optimistic (1)'; fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Fountains/Drains?' and fifthly, Joni's devotional topic's 'Fight Of Faith but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed THIRTY-NINE MINUTES online after I visit the loo once more @ 9pm!! Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, for the first time in three days, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:20am and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Mini Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking for the pot :P again around 7:45am. After this second pot :P trip, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- Around 9:30am PIG mum lets herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and say fifteen more minutes since Sharon's not arriving until 9:45am.
- Once Sharon arrives, I use the loo for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I drink one tall cup of water before sitting over the loo proper. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Sharon.
- Breakfast is my once-weekly fried egg on one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very lightly smeared with avocado, my first mug of white tea sweetened with two teaspoonfuls of sugar, all my usual drugs :P and another tall mug of water. Over and after breakfast, I happily read Two Can Play That Game for thirty minutes, finishing pg. 150 @ 10:38am.
- After Sharon slathers my face and both arms with sunscreen, I use the loo for one more tinkle while she closes and locks windows.
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Sharon's car. She kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt (as she does all day) and then tootles us off to Underwood MarketPlace, finding parking around the side and grabbing a trolley for us.
- First, we buy milk from Woolies. Hambo's @ the checkouts and he even slips me a free LEGO bricks pack after I explain milk doesn't cost thirty bucks, but will he please round up and pass me one anyway?? XD :D
- Back home, I take a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Sharon who helps me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- 'Twas Sharon who explained to me last fortnight after my shower what's the point of showering if after you're dried, creamed and redressed you're exactly as sweaty and sticky as you were before you started the shower?? Sharon laughed and explained: new sweat. What you washed off was old sweat. XD
- Lunch was one bowl of rice leftovers (thanks to Sharon who mixed some oyster sauce into it to make it tasty) and two more big mugs of white tea sweetened with two teaspoonfuls of sugar. I happily read for forty more minutes, reaching pg. 175 @ 12:33pm.
Cheers,
Em. ^^
