Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3190 steps (ha, I'm over three grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Look To Jesus For Your Joy'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Trust In Christ Alone!' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's " God's Goodness. Anyways, events for today?
- GRR; for the 2nd time this year, nature denied me achieving one straight week of awesome sleeps (my 5th) by one day! >< Never mind, 'twas still a sound sleep regardless. *sigh*
- Following another pot :P trip after the Sun's rising, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Daddy Bear (he happily swatted Mini Pearl onto the floor last night XD) and I happily cuddled and snored, me waking once more for the pot :P shortly around 9am just before PIG mum began her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and give poor Elf a very brief rub, since she'd totally ignored my poor foot last night. That's alright, Era rubbed her for fifteen minutes last night and let her wear her sock to sleep although obviously peeled the sock off first thing this morning! XD
- After PIG mum let Jane inside @ 9:30am, Jane knocked, pushed open the door and said, "Good morning, Em; fifteen minutes." Mini Pearl had only nodded good morning back and hadn't even time to flick his body 'shoo' @ her before she'd already closed the door and left! XD
- When Jane comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Jane, who tells me that she had her breakfast smoothie for her morning meal today.
- For me, breakfast was two dry (no honey) Weet-Bix very lightly sprinkled with some Minus :P, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I ask Jane to please gimme some sunscreen then she walks behind me back to the bathroom before returning to the kitchen and washing the breakfast dishes up. Over the loo, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the backseat of Sarah (SAZ is Jane's car's numberplate XD) and Jane tootles me off to the NAB. Thanks to her who kindly helped me buckle my seatbelt both ways. Lol we arrived TWENTY MINUTES early, meaning I had ten minutes to play the Puppy version of Bejeweled before heading up! XD
- My new student's Hongkie like me! Nathan's twenty-one and didn't come to Brisbane until uni.
- Physio today: Lotsa stepping for Erf with left weight shift, four laps long hallway walking and standing boxing! I've already informed the CEs (Jem and Elaine) that they've gotta pass Nathan since he's already saved me from faceplanting twice/thrice! >< I really don't feel safe weightshifting over to the left and stepping with Erf since often Elf can't wear all my weight and I start falling! ><
- After sitting over the loo for two more tinkles Jane tootled me home but perhaps everyone's already leaving for the weekend since we were held up not once (at Coronation drive), not twice (along the highway) but THREE TIMES (along the highway again) coming home!
- Hence why I showered half fast today - hairwash today. Also thanks to Jane who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, Jane made me a tuna toastie with TWO cheese for lunch and the inside buttered plus one mug of unsweetened earl grey tea with milk since she couldn't find the powdered HK-style milk tea/coffee powdered stuff nor any sweetener.
- Used the loo for two more tinkles @ 1:55pm then signed Jane off with my thanks and byes @ 2pm. She's back next Wednesday and taking me to table tennis!
- Ari and some new graduate (Christina?) came and gave Ela one hour of unfunctional exercises.
- When they left, I read Wallaby Stew until PIG mum gave me some delicious mango (presumably the last of the season?) from Aunty Emily and a packet of instant powdered HK-style milk tea coffee; phew I've had my fix this week. XD
- Used the loo for one tinkle, finished my daily Bible readings then plopped online for myself with two minutes to spare, phew.
- Watching the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 44TH time but apparently, it's only going for thirty minutes before switching to Friday night football coverage @ 6:30pm although the TV guide doesn't say so?
- Toms: Sharon's minding me from 9:45pm till 1pm; fingers crossed she'll really shout a birthday bubble tea!! :D
- Presume dad and I are playing table tennis @ church before he drops me home and attends Saturday church service; unsure will I read Wallaby Stew for three hours?
- But definitely plan to watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 45TH time!
- Anyways, hope everyone has a smashing weekend ahead!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
P.S.
