Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3639 steps (ha, I'm over 3.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'He Knows Your Need'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Only Jesus Can Satisfy Your Soul' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Blessed To Be A Blessing'. Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 8th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Like yesterday, nature didn't call until 6:20am, and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P shortly before PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with absolutely nothing but the bra strap before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum comes back to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over. Correction: I walk to the sliding door and ask dearest dad to please come back inside, since I wanted to give him his birthday card, birthday present and a great big hug!
- Breakfast was two dry (no honey) Weet-Bix sprinkled very lightly with the less-yummy (so sticky) bird food, one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very lightly spread with avocado and hopefully very lightly sprinkled with some salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- Monicah doesn't arrive @ 10am but Diana arrives @ 10:08pm! She's chocololate-coloured too and only one year younger than me but with four boys!
- Breakfast finished, Diana covers my face with sunscreen and then walks behind me back to the bathroom. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into Diana's car and she tootles me off to physio @ Breathe. Thanks to her who kindly helps me with my seatbelt all day.
- Physio today: 2.105km bike ride, 36 leg-assisted pull-ups, 36 step ups for Erf, 36 leg curls for Elf, 36 leg extensions for Elf, 36 v-cable rows for both hands, tennis ball throwing and catching for Era and boxing!
- Following one more loo trip (while I used the ambulant stall @ the end, Diana used the normal one beside me), we bought groceries from Warrigal Square (although originally she followed her GPS to Runcorn Plaza XD) before coming back home.
- Took a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Diana who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, thanks to PIG mum who'd left me one bowl of rice leftovers for lunch since I'll not get any rice for dinner tonight. I laughed and said that was my toon leen farn (say that in English) but PIG mum said no, our toon leen farn was last night! Um, are you really meant to eat leftovers for toon leen farn?? XD
- At 1:58pm I used the loo for one more tinkle and then signed off Diana with my thanks and byes. Hope she comes back soon~
- Once I've used up my most important two hours of the day online, I'll use the loo for one tinkle and then sit to read Matthew Reilly's novel for one hour. Hopefully PIG mum'll have finished her bun making by then and will feed me some arvo tea!
- Nisha's taking me to Toastmasters @ 5:30pm; January has a 5th Tuesday! Mostly I'm just hoping that Denise Will remember my chips! XDa Looking forward to getting some dinner back from Maccas, never mind that UnHappy Meals were what I ate surely MORE THAN THREE DECADES ago!! *sigh*
- Toms: will haveta ring CODA and ask since both toms and the day after shifts are still TBAs. But hoping PIG mum'll take me for grocery shopping somewhere else expect a super-pissy plodding total from me, since GG hasn't resumed yet. Hope there's cake again @ table tennis though!! XD
- Anyways, hope everyone has a smashing day toms!
