Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3916 steps (so will have cracked four grand before the day's out; sweet, that doesn't happen very often!); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's "What's New About The New Covenant; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Always Do What's Right'; fourthly, Em's final, final plodding total from Thursday's actually 4293 (past four grand; that doesn't happen too often!) and fifthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional The Freedom God Provides' but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed TWENTY-SEVEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm Nine's) for the 173RD time!! Anyways, let's start with last night's events first!
- Happily watched the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 172ND time, used the loo for tinkle, quickly wolfed down dinner (rice leftovers) and was seated on the couch waiting for coverage on the Broncos game @ 7:30pm! Unsure why dad wouldn't lemme stick out the footrest until kickoff, but hey.
- For the first time in nearing a quarter CENTURY, the Broncos won!! :D Hence why I watched the after show before getting myself off to bed. Zzz~
- Today: 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Like yesterday, nature didn't call until 7:00am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P around 9am, just before noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before returning outside and awaiting Damaris' arrival, only to come back saying she's late and telling me fifteen more minutes! I immediately comply, reminding her to please ring CODA should Damaris not have appeared after being ten minutes late.
- Phew, Damaris arrives around five minutes later and I get my fifteen more minutes again, score~ XD
- When she comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle and we get me kitted. Turns out she was late since she missed the Logan Rd. exit!
- I head over to brush teeth and sit over the loo for one tinkle while Damaris empties the pot :P for me then gets me some breakfast ready.
- After I wash and dry Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Damaris, who tells me she had yoghurt and toast for breakfast this morning.
- For my breakfast, I slurped one bowl of warmed healthy cereal with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread thinly with avocado and sprinkled lightly with salt. I also pop all my usual drugs :P and drink one tall cup of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Damaris accompanies me back to the bathroom before returning to the kitchen and washing up the breakfast dishes. Over the loo, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Damaris' car. She kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt then tootles me off to the NAB for physio with Lachlan.
Cheers,
Em. ^^
