Saturday Post 610

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3496 steps (so promise I'll have cracked 3.5 grand before the night's out XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's "The Goal Of Christ's Love"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'The Importance Of Good Thinking (1)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "A Sense Of God's Justice" but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm  really still owed FIFTY-SEVEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's), Riverfire and eat dinner for the 174TH time!! Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, 4th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature did already call fractionally before midnight but after one pot :P trip I slept soundly until 7:00am before waking again.
  • Following another pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once/twice more for the pot :P before PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside to await Sharon's arrival, only to come back and gimme fifteen more minutes, since Sharon hasn't arrived! o_O I ask her please to ring CODA on-call should she not have arrived by 9:40am. Oh, after another pot :P trip earlier, I'd spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*

  •  Phew, Sharon arrives shortly afterwards and score, I'm given fifteen more minutes again! :D

  • When Sharon comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle and ask Sharon why she was late; had she been stuck in traffic? Nope, replies Sharon, she'd already been working @ another shift before me! Wonder why workers aren't given time to travel between shifts?
  • We get me kitted, before I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. I'd asked Sharon please to bring me a cup of water, so I repeated that request after brushing teeth and I was heading to the loo. Lol, annoying PIG mum calls back, "Come out yourself. She's making your breakfast." Exasperated, I retort, "No, water, please! Number two time! XD
  • When PIG mum brings me one cup of water, I drink it then do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Sharon.
  • Breakfast is my once-weekly fried egg on one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast with a very thin layer of avocado. I also drain one full mug of water, pop all my usual drugs :P and drink my first mug of white tea with one spoonful of honey. Over breakfast I happily read for thirty minutes first up, finding the book title on pg. 107, again on pg. 108, finishing pg. 111 @ exactly 10:35am and finding the book title again on pg. 113.
  • While Sharon closes and locks windows, I use the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then   climb into the passenger seat of her car. Thanks to Sharon who kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt all day.
  • Sharon tootles us off to Underwood MarketPlace,  parks around the side and grabs a trolley for us.
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
