Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3814 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's "Good News: God's Happy"; thirdly, TWFT topic's "Why Can't We Work Together? (1)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'The Christ Offers'. Anyways, events for today?
- Aww, what better way to end the week than with my 2nd consecutive awesome sleep last night? Nature didn't call until 7:05am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Thirty minutes later, Daddy Bear and I had already fallen back asleep together when suddenly dearest dad comes to kiss me bye and retuck me back into bed before heading over to Aunty Yvonne's place for work!
- Daddy Bear and I continued our happy cuddling and snoring, me waking once more for the pot :P around 9am, shortly before noisy PIG mum began her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside and awaiting Peggy's arrival @ 9:30am.
- Once PIG mum lets Peggy inside, Peggy knocks, opens the door and announces good morning. When Daddy Bear flops a paw @ her, she next states fifteen more minutes. Another paw flop from Daddy Bear and Peggy thankfully removes herself, thus saving her from the wrath of the Bear Bum. XD
- When Peggy returns, I sit over the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who's already squirted some toothpaste for me.
- Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then head out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy, rousing @ her for skipping breakfast but forgiving her when she says she's got two hardboiled eggs inside her car and will eat them for breakfast while I'm doing physio. XD
- Breakfast for me: one bowl of plain porridge with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread with avocado and sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Peggy slathers sunscreen over me, walks with me back to the bathroom and then returns to the kitchen to washup my breakfast dishes. Over the loo proper, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Auto (pronounced Alto) and Peggy tootles me off to UQ for physio after kindly helping me with my seatbelt.
- Since we arrive super-early, we actually sit and play with our mobiles for twenty minutes before catching the lift up to level two. After sitting over the loo for one tinkle I take a seat in the waiting room. When I first entered it, the Canto elderly man I met last week immediately says (in Canto) Jol sun, Emily!" I reply jol sun myself then add, "Hol dong ah!!" XD
- Physio with Ashleigh today for two hours: 600 punches for both hands while standing, stepping for Erf with left weight shift, walking over uneven surfaces with both feet and ten laps long hallway walking.
- After sitting over the loo for two more tinkles, Peggy tootled me home. Actually, we arrived home so early Peggy just pulled over along Yvonne Rd. before the road curved down and we both just played with our mobiles for fifteen minutes?
- Back home I took a sizzling hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, Peggy makes me one salmon in tomato and onion toastie with TWO cheese, HEAVILY buttered (on the inside, lest PIG mum return and see) cut into EIGHT little rectangles! Lunch was washed down with one huge mug oof delicious vanilla chai but just pity Peggy couldn't find where sneaky PIG mum had hidden the sweetener! >< *sigh*
- At 1:55pm I sit over the loo for two tinkles and then sign Peggy off with my thanks and byes. Think she's back same time next week~
- PIG mum let Syn inside when she announced her arrival. Poor thing, she's been away for the past fortnight since she had some virus, but western medicine didn't cure her? Lucky Chinese herbal medicine did!
- Ela did one hour of unfunctional hand exercises with her using the FitMi. After choosing some kinda fried chicken recipe for cooking with Dorrie next Friday, Syn finished with Ela grasping a plastic cup. Ela can get her fingers to the cup without problem; it's the getting thumb around the cup part that she's got difficulty with? Actually, Syn discussed helping me find paid work; I'm aware PIG mum's totally against it, but I'm willing for any chance to get off the disability pension and start contributing to society!
- After Syn left, PIG mum fed me some fruit, three little round crackers and one huge mug of green tea for arvo tea. Skipped reading for one hour since I'd not have time to enjoy the entirety of my most important two hours of the day online.
- Arvo tea munched, I used the loo for one tinkle and then walked myself slowly and safely online, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- When nature randomly called @ 5:25pm I walked myself slowly and safely again to the loo for one tinkle and back, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Looking forward to watching the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 117TH time! When that starts, I'll call upstairs and remind PIG mum to please have dinner ready for me @ 7pm, once I finish watching the news, I'll use the loo for one tinkle, wolf down dinner and be seated on the couch @ 7:30pm ready to watch the Broncos play the Bulldogs! Like I said last night, I'm happy whoever wins: Brisbane's my home team but I've cheered for Canterbury ever since I started attending Canterbury College!
- Toms: Olivia's minding me from 9:30am till 1pm; I've not seen her for a while! Presuming we'll buy groceries from Underwood MarketPlace plus my arvo tea sushi roll, come home for a shower and lunch before Olivia drops me off @ table tennis with dearest dad @ 1pm.
- Planning to spend three hours reading toms; Saturday's the only day when that's possible and I'll pass watching the 6pm news bulletin for the 118TH time for that!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl after dinner else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
