Friday Post 603

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 5653 steps (sweet I'm already over half a normal person, that's rare! XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Proud Works Vs. Humble Faith'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Go The Extra Mile' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Life In Christ' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FORTY-ONE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 121ST time!! Anyways, events for today?

  • Aww, what better way to end the week than with my 6th consecutive awesome sleep? Nature didn't call until the noisy garbage truck THUNDERED down our road and started tipping bins; that woke me, and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Daddy Bear and I happily cuddled and snored, me waking once more for the pot :P when dearest dad very thoughtfully walked silently along the hallway and unpopped the lock into the garage.
  • After dearest dad had kissed me bye, retucked me back into bed and left for Aunty Yvonne's place to continue renovating their house, Daddy Bear and I happily cuddled and snore some more, me waking once more for the pot :P just before nosy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and give poor Elf a very brief rub since she'd totally ignored my poor foot last night. Doesn't matter, whenever PIG mum can't be bothered giving Elf some attention, Era always will~
  • Once PIG mum lets Peggy inside @ 9:30am, Peggy knocks, pushes open the door and announces, "Good morning." When I flop Daddy Bear's paw @ her, she next states "Fifteen more minutes." Another paw flop from Daddy Bear and she wisely leaves, thus saving her from the wrath of the Bear Bum. XD Actually, she returned two minutes early and Daddy Bear was tempted to Bear Bum her then and there, but I told him wait, she might not disturb us. And she didn't! XD
  • When Peggy returns, I commend her for not disturbing us and incurring Daddy Bear's wrath before using the pot :P for three more tinkles. After we get me kitted, I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who's already squirted me some toothpaste.
  • Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then head out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy, who told me that she had her two usual fried eggs for breakfast today.
  • For me, breakfast was one bowl of plain porridge with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast lightly spread with avocado and lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh* I also happily watched Today Extra over breakfast but was unaware had Peggy turned it on for me/had PIG mum turned it on herself, since she was eating her own breakfast on the couch.
  • After breakfast, Peggy slathered sunscreen over my face before accompanying me back to the bathroom then returned to the kitchen and washed the breakfast dishes. Over the loo proper, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Auto (pronounced Alto) and Peggy kindly helps me with my seatbelt before tootling me off to the NAB for physio with Ashleigh. After arriving twenty minutes early, we both happily sit and play with our mobiles for ten minutes before heading upstairs. I use the loo for one tinkle and then Peggy and I sit in the waiting room with other clients and wait for Ashleigh.
  • Physio today: Standing reaching for Era at mirror, standing boxing with Ashleigh in front and the Scottish lady behind, 165 cable rows Era, two laps short hallway walking, two big laps walking outside down and up the ramp and eight laps long hallway walking plus some finger tapping exercises for Ela. Next week's our last session together and Ashleigh's off to some hospital's ICU ward next. I've not been invited back for next block and hope they'll not gimme some HEP to do while I'm having a break! XD
  • After sitting over the loo for two tinkles Peggy tootled me home. She got a perfect run along the highway hence why Peggy pulled over along Yvonne Rd. before it dips down and we both just played on our mobiles for fifteen minutes before finally getting home.

  • Cheers,
    Em. ^^
