Good afternoon! First1y, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1561 steps (ha, I'm just over 1.5 grand XD); secondly, John piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Give God Your Revenge'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Why Can't We Work Together (3)? and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Choices And Consequences' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed 'IFTEEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 118TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:05am, and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Daddy Bear and I had fallen asleep again when noisy PIG mum's daily a-THUMPING around upstairs around 7:45am wakes me for another pot :P trip. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before returning outside and awaiting Angelica's arrival @ 8am.
- After PIG mum lets Angelica inside @ 8am, Angelica knocks, opens the door and cheerfully calls out, "Good morning, Em!" When I flop Daddy Bear's arm @ her, she next squeals "Oh, hi, bear!" before adding, "You want more time, right?" Another paw flop from Daddy Bear and she thankfully removes herself, thus saving her from the wrath of the Bear Bum. XD
- When Angelica returns, I sit up, bid her good morning and warn her that she forgot to give us fifteen more minutes; today I'll get up right away since I can't be late for the competition, but should she forget again next time; I'll send her away for another fifteen more minutes. XD
- After I sat over the pot :P for one more tinkle, we got me kitted, before Angelica headed over with me to the bathroom where I brushed teeth before sitting over the loo for one tinkle. After washing and drying Era, I headed out to the gobbling :P table with Angelica.
- Breakfast was one bowl of plain porridge with one slice of dry (unbuttered) bread lightly spread with avocado and lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Angelica walks back with me to the bathroom and then returns to the kitchen and washes up my breakfast stuff. Over the loo proper, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Angelica's car, with dearest dad walking behind me and wishing me good luck for the competition today. Angelica kindly helps me with my seatbelt and then we're off! Originally, I'd hoped she would grab us Maccas for breakfast but instead, she bought me one coffee bun from Pappa Roti (she already had two herself) and said we could get bubble tea and KFC before going home, score!
- At Wynnum Table Tennis, I transfer into Sparkless3, and we wheel me up the ramp before I hike down the stairs that lead onto the playing floor. That's right; I was here last year, and they've not got any disabled/ambulant toilets. *sigh*
- For my first match, I play against Matty; after he wins the first set, I rally to win the next three sets and take the match!
- After that Angelica fed me the biggest slice of Kim's delicious chocolate cake that she could find, even though the pieces were pre-cut and roughly the same size. XD
- Only for my next two matches I lost in straight sets: first to Nicole and then to Gary! *cringe*
- Nicole's mum and dad made our salad rolls for lunch; I chose ham and said no beetroot please but lotsa mayo and had all the other salad, i.e. lettuce, tomato and carrot.
- For doubles I paired with Chris (not the older one but the 25yo from Redlands who seems perfectly normal) and we WON!
- One more hike down the stairs for the bathroom before Angelica tootled me home after stopping for bubble tea and KFC~
- Got home and took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Angelica who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, arvo tea was one yummy banana, two/three small tasty round crackers and one big mug of delicious Ceylon tea sweetened with two teaspoonfuls of sugar. Angelica cleaned the bathroom and then sent me all the photos she took while I played table tennis today; gosh, she took like HUNDREDS!
- At 3:55pm I sat over the loo once more for two tinkles before signing Angelica off with my thanks and byes @ 4pm.
- Looking forward to watching the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 118TH time!
- Toms: seeing Ray for some massage and acupuncture @ 11am. Bet PIG mum's simply DYING to yap ceaselessly @ him.
- Will buy groceries with her afterwards before returning home for lunch with dearest dad.
- Angelica's minding me from 3:30pm till 5:30pm.
- Fingers crossed I can watch the 6pm news for the 119TH time!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
