Thursday Post 605

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been   hard @ work plodding 2898 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily   devotional topic from last Suffering That Strengthens Faith'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Beware Of Covetousness' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Looking Like Christ'. Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 8:00am and after one pot :P trip,  I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • When nature calls again one hour later it's actually   PIG mum's daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs that awakes me; when the home phone rings, she's downstairs and rushes into my room to answer it, grousing "It'd better not be Karina cancelling again ..."  But it is! o_O
  • Mother gives me fifteen more minutes and when the replacement carer arrives @ 9:45pm I get up immediately. Turns out Nadine's only one year younger than me, and lives in Inala!
  • We get me kitted, I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth, sit over the loo for one tinkle and then head out to the gobbling :P table with Nadine.
  • Breakfast's one bowl of plain porridge with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread with avocado and sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After breakfast, while Nadine washes up my breakfast stuff, closes and locks windows, I sit once more over the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Nadine's car, she kindly helps me with my seatbelt and then she tootles me off to Calamvale Central for a haircut. Sweet, she parks underground and grabs a trolley for us; Go Cutt's right outside the lift!
  • The hairdresser who cut my hair today has done it before! I like going   there   since it's the only time I'm ever instructed to look down; unfortunately, the vacuum cleaner still hasn't been fixed yet! >< The hairdresser's really sweet and super-nice to mother; she tells me that she's got three kids and has her PR here but doesn't  wanna get her citizenship since she doesn't wanna lose her Chinese passport.
  • Hair nice and neat, Nadine and I hike all the way to the other end of Calamvale Central and buy a carton of milk from Woolies. Thanks to Nadine who lets me sit on the self-serve checkout machine space where you usually put groceries; unsure why the parents won't lemme? But I chatted with Adelfa the checkout lady manning the self-serve checkouts; she's Filipino and her name means some kinda flower! I told her the two phrases I can   speak; she nodded approvingly when IU said thanks but doubled over roaring with laughter when I very timidly said you're fat? XD
  • Back home I take a nice hot shower - hairwash today.  Also thanks to Nadine who helps me rinse my hair out, thus freeing    Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and  rekitted Nadine microwaves the bowl of rice leftovers mother left me for lunch - with added oyster sauce! :D I enjoy my packet of powdered HK-style milk tea and best of all, since Royal Match randomly gives me one hour of free lives, pass the hard level I've been stuck on!
  • Before Nadine leaves, I sit over the loo for two more tinkles. She's from Care Agency    Australia~
  • Once I've used up the most important hours of   my day online, I'll use the loo for one tinkle, sit @ the gobbling :P table to read for one hour and wait for PIG mum to gimme some arvo  tea.
  • Looking forward to watching the 6pm news (Seven's) for the 164TH time!
  • Toms: Peggy's minding me from 9:30am till like 1:30pm and taking me to Breathe for physio.
  • After she sees me showered and leaves, Syn's coming to give Ela one hour of unfunctional exercises.
  • Will  prolly  skip reading for one hour since I'm planning to watch the 6pm news for the 165TH time, wolf down dinner and be seated on the couch @ 7:30pm ready to watch the Broncos play!! Although I'll   be happy whoever wins:   the Broncos are my home team, but I've always cheered for South Sydney since I'm born in the CNY of the Rabbit!
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl else wishing everyone a smashing end to the week toms!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
