Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2192 steps (ha, I'm over two grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic's 'Jesus Bought Your Endurance'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Scriptural Advice About Sex' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "Walking In Christ's Light." Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Like the past two nights, nature didn't call until 8am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking for another pot :P trip when noisy PIG mum wakes me with her usual daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside and awaiting Karina's arrival @ 9:30am but comes back inside @ 9:35am to gimme fifteen more minutes since Karina hasn't arrived yet! o_O I tell her please to ring CODA if Karina's not arrived in five minutes' but phew, she does~ Hilariously, AFTER Karina arrives the original carer rostered for today's shift arrives too! PIG mum doesn't even let her inside and sends her away. XD
- When Karina comes back fifteen minutes later, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Karina who squirts me some toothpaste~ She even admires my new Minion toothbrush! <3'
- Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era then head out to the gobbling :P table with Karina, rousing @ her for not eating breakfast this morning and informing her that she'll buy herself some when we're getting groceries for PIG mum after getting my AFO fixed.
- For breakfast I slurp one bowl of plain porridge and healthy cereal with one slice of bread lightly spread with avocado and lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Karina walks behind me back to the toilet before returning and washing up my breakfast dishes. Ober the loo, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Karina's car and she tootles me off to Ability Prosthetics And Orthotics. Thanks to her who helped me buckle my seatbelt all day~
- At APO, the lady behind the counter's holding an adorable baby daschund who's only four months old! She brings him over and Era gives him a quick pat~
- Ryan takes my AFO and gives it new straps~ I've clean forgotten him, but Ryan says he looked after me back when I got my AFOs from Goodwill! Before leaving, Karina takes me once to the loo.
- After leaving, our other stop's Warrigal Woolies to buy groceries. Yay that the awesome checkout chic discreetly slipped me a card when I quietly explained that I've not bought thirty bucks worth of groceries, but could she please round up and gimme one? XD
- Back home I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Karina who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch is one bowl of leftover fried rice plus one mug of powdered instant HK-style milk tea.
- When PIG mum got home she discussed with Karina my EKKA trip next Monday: I'm hitting the Ekka for the first time since 2016!!! *explodes with excitement*
- At 1:55pm I sat over the loo once more for two tinkles and then signed Karina off with my thanks and byes; I think we're hitting the Ekka together next Monday!!
- Once I've used up my most important two hours of the day I'll use the loo for one tinkle, sit @ the gobbling :P table to munch arvo tea and read for one hour before returning online and watching the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 160TH time!
- Will scoff down dinner and be seated on the couch come 7:30pm since the Broncos are playing the Storm tonight!
- Toms: Peggy's still holidaying; I'm unsure who's taking me to Breathe for physio. But presuming we'll buy groceries afterwards and get the stuff needed for my cooking session with Dorrie toms arvo.
- Looking forward to reading for one hour afterwards then watching the 6pm news for the 161ST time!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing end to the week toms~
