Heylo again and good evening! Firstly, Em's new plodding total for Thursday now stands @ 3417 (so may not have reached 3500 before the night's out XD) and secondly, Joni's devotional topic's 'The Power Of God'. Righteo, continuing Thursday's events?
- Once I'd used up my most important two hours of the day, I used the loo for one tinkle then sat @ the gobbling :P table to munch arvo tea and start reading the new Matthew Reilly book Ken had gifted me this morning!
- PIG mum gave me some fruit, one plain cracker and one huge mug of some herbal tea and I happily read for one hour, reaching page twenty-five @ 5:15pm. Pity I've got the new book club novel to start reading toms; I would've loved to continue reading this one!
- At 5:30pm, I went and sat over the loo for two tinkles, wondering was the Betadine carer mother mentioned was gonna come.
- She arrived five/seven minutes late (traffic); turns out her name's BeNadine! XD
- Benadine moved her car back to the driveway, I got in and PIG mum kindly helped me buckle my seatbelt.
- When she drove me to book club, I found out I'm five years older than her but she's already married with two primary school aged kids, lives in Browns Plains and her husband's a carer like her! Only not with CODA!
- Upon arrival, grumpiness was finding the lift outta oorder. >< Why can't they just build stairs going straight up from the ground floor to the second floor! With stairs curved aroound, I had to haul myself up twenty-four steps! >< Luckily there were handrails both ways.
- Eight ladies attended tonight but the oddest thing was the tea! 'Twas some kinda tumeric tea and tasted odd with milk and two sugars!
- The meeting ended like thirteen minutes early but Benadine stayed with me inside the meeting room until 7:30pm, when I went out and borrowed the new book club novel from a male librarian from Cambodia!
- Lol Benadine's missed the turn into Gaskell Street since like PIG mum, she didn't listen to her GPS! XD I put away my mobile and took her back home through Oakleaf Street~
- Dinner back home: rice, lotsa yummy garlic stem/shoot, one little yyummy cuttlefish ball and some not-very-yummy fungus ... the stringy kind?
- Dinner was spooned down with one bowlful of soup; after taking the soup over to the sink I walked myself slowly and safely back online, above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Righteo, hopefully brb after one more loo trip @ 9pm with my final, final plodding total for today, the final, final events for tonight plus what's happening Friday else wishing everyone a smashing end to their week toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
