Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4746 steps (nice, I'm over 4.5 grand; that doesn't happen very often!); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's "Jesus Is God's Amen"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Pray About It, Then Take Action' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Made To Do Good For God but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY-FIVE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 41ST time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 11TH consecutive awesome sleep last night! Like the past two days, nature didn't call until 7:20am, and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P around 9am just before PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with absolutely nothing bar the bra strap before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum returns to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom to brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle (and discover that my monthlies have arrived; score, they should be gone by my birthday! ^^), wash and dry Era and then walk me slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Breakfast is two dry (no honey) Weet-Bix very lightly sprinkled with Special K, one CHOCOLATE cupcake that Sharon had made for my birthday dinner last night (I immediately took a photo and then Whatsapped that to Dr. Lee, saying 'chocolate for breakfast can't be wrong' XD! all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Peggy (who arrived @ 10am) slathered me with sunscreen then walked behind me back to the bathroom. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the backseat of Auto (pronounced Alto) and Peggy tootles me off to Breathe for physio. Thanks to Peggy who kindly helped me buckle my seatbelt all day.
- Physio today: 1.88km bike ride, 36 leg assisted pull-ups, 36 v-bar cable rows, 36 leg extensions for Elf 36 leg curls Elf, tennis ball throwing and catching for Era and boxing! Usually, Connor totally ignores me unless I'm having my monthlies; when that happens, he'll smell the extra blood and come sniff around my crotch. XD Today he just came to sniff my hands but when I told him 'twas my BIRTHDAY next Thursday, Connor immediately started licking them! Aww, felt like he was personally bidding me a happy birthday for Thursday~ <3
- After one loo trip (CZ258 unlocks the ladies loo and there's an ambulant cubicle @ the end) Peggy tootles me off to the library to borrow the book club novel for next month.
- Our last stop for the day's Springwood Mall; Peggy and I duck into the grocery store and buy groceries for my afternoon OT cooking session with Dorrie!
- Back home I take a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was one yummy tuna in tomato and onion toastie with only one slice of cheese plus one huge mug of some herbal tea.
- Peggy cleaned the bathroom then left with our thanks and byes @ 2pm; she's back same time next Friday and I hope she remembers her promise to celebrate my belated birthday with me!
- Dorrie arrived almost immediately after Peggy had left; today we made some kinda fried rice together! She was noble and cut up the onions for me, since I don't like crying. XD
Cheers,
Em. ^^
