Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3465 steps (so I'm positive I'll have cracked 3.5 grand before the day's out XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's "Prayer'd Exclamation Point"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Know Your Purpose'; Know Your Partners' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'God-Given Skills And Talents' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 43RD time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 15TH consecutive awesome sleep last night! Like yesterday, nature didn't call until 7:10am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore for about another hour, with nature calling once more shortly before PIG mum begins her usual daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with absolutely nothing bar the bra strap before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum returns to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Breakfast is two dry (no honey) Weet-Bix very lightly sprinkled with some Minus :P with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast lightly spread with avocado and very lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Nisha (who arrived @ 10:01am) walks behind me back to the bathroom before going back to the kitchen and washing up the breakfast stuff for me. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Tuesday. Nisha kindly helps me with my seatbelt (as she kindly does all day) and then tootles us off to Pinelands Plaza. Unfortunately, all the disabled spots are taken, and she doesn't find a park until the Post Office. *sigh* But @ least she grabs a trolley for us~
- After buying groceries from Coles, we head down to Pinelands Plaza to buy our bahn mis for lunch, since Nisha wants one too. When Aunty Nancy sees me, she grins and asks "You (sic) birthday today?" I laugh and reply, "Thursday, but for my birthday, mother will lemme buy a Vietnamese iced coffee!" Nisha orders the same and when Aunty Nancy tells me to wait, I presume she's just heating our bahn mis for us.
- But WOW, she steps out from the counter and hands me an ENTIRE CAKE!! :D
- Nisha puts that into the esky for me, along with the other groceries we'd bought for PIG mum before we sit outside the bakery and munch our bahn mis for lunch.
- Afterwards, Nisha tootles me off to the NAB for physio. Since we arrive super-early, we have twenty minutes to play with our mobiles before heading into the clinic @ 12:50pm.
- Jacky meets me while I'm walking down the hallway to the NAB. Physio today: Five laps long hallway walking, stepping for both legs with left weight shift and standing card work for Era.
Cheers,
Em. ^^
