Good afternoon! Firstly, Em's final, final plodding total from last night's actually 4704; secondly, Joni's devotional topic from last night's 'The Bread Of Adversity'; thirdly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3361 steps; fourthly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'How To Plead For Unbelievers'; fifthly, TWFT topic's 'Have A God Perspective' and sixthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'One In Christ'. Anyways, let's start off with yesterday's (just briefly) events first!
- Took a hike around Underwood Lake with Pole, had a quick lie-down in the sunlounge and then we had morning tea on that big table bench!
- Melissa took me to play table tennis and there was cake! Leftover from Sunday's comp, but still! There was actually another piece, since Howard the coach was celebrating his birthday!
- Got home, showered and then Mel dropped me off @ Dr. Lee's place for our GG hotpot/social/Origin Two!
- QUEENSLAND WON!! :D
- Back home, repeat the usual nightly events and zzz~ Oh, Dr. Lee gets a special mention for getting down on bended knee and helping me retie Erf's shoelace, which had become undone. Usually, I'm pretty good with checking before walking anywhere but 'twas late last night, I was still feeling euphoric after Queensland's win last night and I simply forgot. ^^" Erf has better sensation than Elf; since I felt she'd become undone I asked Dr. Lee umm, is my right shoelace undone? He said yes! Here, pause a sec and I'll retie it for you. Think that was the first time anyone had gotten down on bended knee to help me! XD
- Today: yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 8:20am (prolly coz Origin ended late last night and I didn't hit the sack till after 10:30pm), and after one pot :P trip I immediately fell back asleep since I knew PIG mum would get very noisy about one hour later! Actually, I may have slept later, but for dearest dad coming to kiss me bye before working @ Aunty Yvonne's place~
- When PIG mum's daily a-THUMPING around upstairs wakes me, I use the pot :P again before I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh* During that time, PIG mum lets herself into my room to hit me into my room before giving Elf a very brief rub, since obviously she'd not done that last night.
- After PIG mum lets Karina in, Karina knocks, pushes open the door and murmurs "Good morning, Emily ..." When I wave Daddy Bear's Paw @ her she next says "Hitting the snooze button for fifteen more minutes ..." Another flop of Daddy Bear's paw and she thankfully removes herself, thus saving her from the wrath of the Bear Buj. XD
- When Karina comes back, I sit over the pot :P for three more tinkles, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom to brush teeth. Thanks to Karina who squirted some toothpaste for me.
- Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era then head out to the gobbling :P table with Karina, rousing @ her for AGAIN skipping breakfast.
- For my breakfast I slurp one bowl of plain porridge and munch one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread with avocado and lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Karina accompanies me back to the toilet before returning to the kitchen and washing up my breakfast dishes. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Karina's car. She kindly helps me with my seatbelt (what she does all day) and then she tootles me off to Breathe for physio with Winnie.
- Physio today: 1.876km bike ride, 36 leg-assisted pull-ups, 36 steps for Erf, 36 v-cable rows for both hands, 36 leg extensions for Elf, 36 leg curls for Elf, tennis ball catching and throwing for Era and boxing!
- After one more tinkle in the ambulant stall of the female toilets (CZ258 unlocks it), Karina tootled us back to Warrigal Square and grabbed us a trolley before we both bought groceries @ Woolies. Unsure why dad won't lemme sit down @ the self-serve checkouts, Peggy and Karina both do! Before coming home, I also bought the Courier Mail from the newsagency since there weren't any @ Woolies!
- Took a nice hot shower when I got home - hairwash today. Also thanks to Karina who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was one tuna in tomato and onion tuna toastie with only one slice of cheese and unbuttered plus one huge mug of herbal tea. Karina cleaned the bathroom before I signed her off with my thanks and byes. She's back next Thursday and taking me to GCCW!
- After lunch I sat and happily read the Courier Mail and before plopping online, used the loo for one tinkle. Have needed to go twice more after that; PIG mum says it's coz I've not been sweating?
- Tonight's ice cream night; like I say every week, a very little's better than none @ all!
- Toms: Peggy's minding me from 9:30am till 2pm. She's taking me to the NAB for a two-hour physio session with Ashleigh before Dorrie comes over for some cooking!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl tonight, else hope everyone has a smashing end to the week toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
