Friday Post 327

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1570 steps (phew, I'm just over 1.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's "Seek Your City's Good"; thirdly, TWFT topic's "Experiencing God's Peace" and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Rivers To Cross'.  Anyways, events for today?

  • What better way to finish the working week than with an awesome sleep last night? Nature didn't  call until the noisy garbage truck woke me THUNDERING down the road to  tip our bins and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking again for the pot :P when noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with absolutely nothing bar the bra strap and laying out the tee before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
  • PIG mum returns to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sat over the loo for one tinkle, washed and dried Era then walked myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.

  • Breakfast's one dry (no honey) Weet-Bix very lightly sprinkled with some Milo cereal and some Minus :P, all my   usual drugs :P and one full mug of water.   Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh* Also grumpy that the parents wouldn't turn Sunrise on for my viewing pleasure; I'd hoped they would since I'm so rarely awake this early! *sigh again*
  • Breakfast finished, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the bathroom, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying   Era, I   climb into the back seat of the Chery and buckle my own seatbelt. Both parents climb in too then dad tootles me off to the P.A for my follow-up!

  • Dad dropped PIG mum and I off near the entrance; wow the hospital must've had upgrades/renovations done since it's looking really fancy! PIG mum directed me to walk all the way into some new building (we caught one lift), I checked in and then we took a seat. PIG mum immediately whacked a mask on me since there was another unmasked patient there waiting and coughing.
  • Lol, everyone must've been given the same appointment  time (10:30am) since thirty minutes later, we were still sitting here! XD
  • Only fifteen minutes left, so  super-briefly:
  • Some Indian?  doctor called my name; after we'd followed her into  her room  we sat down and she  apologised that her computer wasn't working today.
  • But phew  no tumour regrowth and no cyst either! She managed to dig up some brain photo for me to look @ and pretend I understood what I was seeing; not  only that, she brought Dr. Olson to say hi! We hugged and Dr. Olson  says she  even remembered  running up  some stairs to check sth for me!
  • Best  of all, my next MRI's not for another FIVE YEARS! Lol I said that was prolly  coz the hospital  was outta money. XD Dr. Olson said but  come back should your  coondition deteriorate suddenly and she's retiring in  the next five years/so!
  • Best of all when leaving PIG mum  spotted the donation duck that used to sit somewhere just inside the  msin hospital! I asked permission for a photo then dropped a gold coin into him.
  • Back home, lunch was half a bacon and egg McMuffin,  a slice of hash brown (they were from Maccas) one slice of watermelon and two slices of pawpaw. Lunch was washed down with one delicious mug of Taiwanese tea and then I returned online after one tinkle, using the loo again  when nature randomly called @ 2pm.
  • Christina's coming to give Ela one hour of unfunctional  exercises @ 2:45pm then Jane's minding me 4-6pm; hoping to read the  Feist novel for another hour!
  • Looking forward to  watching the 6pm news (Nine's)  for the 74TH time, will wolf down dinner afterwards then be seated on the couch to  watch Brisbane play Canterbury!
  • Toms: ANZAC Day but phew Jane's minding me 9:30am till 1pm! Think we're just buying sth  from the Pinelands Bakehouse then coming home for a shower and lunch before dad drops me off @ church  to play table tennis with  dearest dad~
  • Hopping to read for three hours; willing to skip watching the 6pm news bulletin for the SEVENTY-FIFTH time for that!
  • Anyways, maybe bbl but if not, hope everyone has a lovely weekend ahead!
    Cheers,
    Em.  ^^
