Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3605 steps (ha, I'm over 3.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Embracing Jesus'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Double Jeopardy' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Lament To Praise'. Anyways, events for today?
- Aww, what better way to start the long weekend than with an awesome night's sleep? Nature didn't call until 7:30am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking for one more pot :P trip around 9am just before noisy PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around. When she lets herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo, I excitedly burble my newest remembered dream to her: I've just signed up for some SHAOLIN martial arts class! XD
- After PIG mum lets Peggy inside @ 9:30am, Peggy knocks, sticks her head inside and announces, "Good morning." After I nod Pearl, she then announces, "Fifteen more minutes." Another nod from Pearl and she thankfully withdraws; phew, since Pearl's anatomically incapable of giving the Bear Bum! XD
- Actually, I fall back asleep before Peggy returns and orders me up, but luckily, it's not cold yet hence why I don't go full morgenmuffel on her. XD We get me kitted, I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth (thanks to Peggy who squirted some toothpaste for me), sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era then head out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy, who told me that she had her usual two fried eggs for breakfast.
- For my breakfast, I get one bowl of healthy cereal (Minus :P and Special K) with one slice of dried (unbuttered) toast spread with avocado and sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Thanks also to Peggy who pours me a massive mug of white tea, although unfortunately she can't find where sneaky PIG mum's hidden the sweetener. *sigh* Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- Breakfast finished, Peggy accompanies me back to the bathroom and then goes to wash up the breakfast dishes. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Auto (pronounced Alto) and Peggy tootles us off to Underwood Park for my first hike around the lake this year!
- After hiking most of it, I take a lie down in the sunlounge; Peggy cares for BumBum so much she's even brought a towel for BumBum to lie on! We see lotsa dogs; s woman pulling this MASSIVE Great Dane called Seamus even stopped for a chat! I hope she couldn't see how disabled I was~
- I like the boardwalk there; it's wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. After hiking around, Peggy tootled me home and I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, Peggy made me a tuna in tomato and onion with TWO cheese and the inside HEAVILY buttered with my second big mug of sugarless vanilla chai before going and cleaning the bathroom.
- At 1:55pm I went and sat over the loo for two more tinkles before walking myself slowly and safely online, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over since PIG mum immediately shooed Peggy away once she and dearest dad returned home from wherever they'd gone this morning.
- Once I've used up the most important two hours of my day, I'll use the loo for one tinkle, sit and read the book club novel for one hour (oh, almost forgot to mention! Bumped into Jan this morning while lying on the sunlounges!) and munch some arvo tea.
- Looking forward to watching the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 67TH time!
- Toms: Holly's minding me from 9:30am till 1:30pm. Wonder will the shops have reopened?
- Also wonder will dad take me to church to play table tennis with him?
- But looking forward to my two big mugs of white tea with one big spoonful of honey and the chance to read the book club novel for three hours; willing to skip watching the 6pm news for the 68TH time to achieve that!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
