Heylo again, good morning again and please excuse the first post; you know I still get too excited whenever I get to post online before midday. XD Firstly, my final, final plodding total from Tuesday's 3792; secondly, Joni's devotional topic from last night's 'The Fellowship' thirdly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2588 steps (ha, I'm just over 2.5 grand XD); fourthly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Five Reasons To Be Fearless'; fifthly, TWFT topic's "Today Expect God's Favour and sixthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'To Infinity And Beyond!' but seventhly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed THIRTY-SEVEN MINUTES online after I get home from GG tonight!! Anyways, let's start off with yesterday's events first!
- After physio, I come home for a shower, munch arvo tea and plop briefly online until Nisha comes and takes me to Toastmasters! She arrives about three minutes late; she was stuck in traffic.
- Oh drat: we had a great run along Logan Rd. but traffic was terrible along the highway and the free parking was already taken after we arrived! ><
- Only five attended last night; originally 'twas only Neil and me; I immediately approved the idea Neil suggested when he saif if nobody else comes let's hit the pub but then three more arrived. >< XD
- Damian led last night's theme about Easter and while he didn't bring any Easter eggs for us, he bought a box of Lindt chocolates! I was very impressed that Neil remembered I could only have the red (milk chocolate) ones because on my nut allergy!
- Afterwards, Nisha took me back to Maccas for my Unhappy Meal with an orange juice. We also had a video chat with her dad; his English's pretty good!
- Back home, I signed Nisha off with my thanks and byes. She's back next Toastmasters; I'm hoping with her cousin's Mercedes-Benz since it turns out he didn't sell it after all!
- But mostly I was just frustrated that I was really still owed TWENTY-SIX MINUTES when PIG mum ordered me off to bed! >< But @ least Elf got to wear her sock to sleep since PIG mum couldn't be bothered giving her a rub before bed. *sigh*
- Today: yay, 6th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:40am, and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a
mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with
the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with,
giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for
her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It
doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not
through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess
whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. ><
*sigh*
Breakfast is one bowl of two healthy cereals plus one tiny slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very lightly spread with some avocado and hopefully sprinkled with some salt), all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the bathroom, again
