Friday Post 486

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1073 steps (ha, I'm just over one grand XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's ''The Liberating Power Of Forgiveness'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Find Prayer Partners'; fourthly, my final, final plodding total for Thursday's actually 2759; fifthly, Joni's devotional topic from last night's 'Building On The Foundation' and sixthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "Steps Of Faith". Anyways, let's start with yesterday's events first!

  • Once the news finished, I used the loo for one tinkle then headed down to the gobbling :P table and wolfed dinner down quickly; NRL started coverage @ 7:30pm!
  • Dinner finished, I skipped soup and then sat @ the couch. Only 7:15pm; dad was watching YouTube and refused to change the channel until 7:30pm; luckily I'd brought my mobile along to play with, but I wish he didn't take it off me the moment NRL coverage started. *sigh*
  • But I liked how the teams walked out together in solidarity, how both captains laid wreaths and before rejoining the Broncos, our captain gave the opposing captain a friendly pat on the back~ The army lady who read the oath out nearly lost it; she shouted the first two lines ... then stopped! But then she started again from the beginning and 'twas flawless, phew~
  • The clever Broncos had like already won the match by halftime, 'twas already 34-0!
  • But Canterbury dug deep and produced three tries themselves during the second half; not enough though since the Broncos continued scoring; their last try was like right on the 80th minute~
  • Hence why I watched Thursday Night Knockoff before getting myself off to bed; zzz~
  • Today: woo hoo, best awesome sleep last night for 2025 yet: nature didn't call until 8:45am! After one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, PIG mum's noisy daily a-THUMPING around upstairs waking me for another pot :P trip when she wakes me with her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs shortly after 9am. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside and awaiting Peggy's arrival @ 9:30am.
  • After PIG mum lets Peggy in, she knocks, pushes open the door and announces good morning, stating "Fifteen more minutes" when I nod pearl @ her. Phew, she leaves us be after that, since  Pearl's anatomically incapable of giving the Bear Bum!
  • When Peggy returns, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who's already squirted some toothpaste for me.
  • Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dried Era and then walked out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy, who told me she had her usual two fried eggs for breakfast this morning.
  • Less than thirty minutes left, soo just super-briefly: ate breakfast, did a stinky unspeakable then went to Underwood Park with Peggy.
  • Didn't hike around the lake since 'twas raining; we just sat inside the pagoda with some male carer and his client who had headphones on.
  • Got home, showered and had two little slices of pizza for lunch.
  • Used loo once more @ 1:55pm then signed Peggy off with my thanks and byes.
  • Once I've used up my most important two hours of the day I'll uswe the loo for one tinkle and then sit and read for one hour.
  • Looking forward to watching the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 72ND time!
  • Toms: Olivia's minding me from 9:30am till 1:30pm. Presuming we'll grocery shop and sushi buy @ Underwood Marketplace?
  • Must remember to ask dad is there any table tennis @ church toms arvo~
  • Hoping to read for three hours toms; will skip watching the news for that!
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
