Good evening! Firstly, Em's final, final plodding total from last night's actually 5798 (so my best for 2025 so far yay but poo that the Broncos lost last night); secondly, Joni's devotional topic from last night's 'Compassion'; thirdly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3687 steps (ha, I'm over 3.5 grand XD); fourthly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's "The Great King's Wine"; fifthly, TWFT topic's "Expect To 'Wrestle'"; sixthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "The Spirit's Helpful Reminders" and seventhly, Joni's devotional topic's "Me, Crucify God? Never' but eighthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY MINUTES online after I use the loo once more @ 9pm!! Anyways, just briefly, events for today?
- Yay, 5th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:15am~
- Only Olivia didn't come @ 9:30am! PIG mum rang CODA on-call and helped me up.
- Brushed teeth, did a stinky unspeakable, ate my once-weekly fried egg and drank my first big mug of white tea with two sugars.
- Started reading the new book club novel! Reached page twenty-five @ 10:28; it's really good!
- Went out with PIG mum to Underwood Marketplace to buy groceries from Woolies and get my honey chicken sushi roll.
- Came home for lunch with dearest dad and enjoyed my second big mug of white tea.
- Played table tennis @ church with dearest dad. Saw Aunty Carly and played with Uncle Simon; he's so hark hei!
- Came home and enjoyed my arvo tea honey chicken sushi roll. Underwood MarketPlace does them good; they're crunchy! Happily continued reading until Catherine came and minded me from 4-6pm. Reached page fifty @ 12:12pm. Forgot what time I reached page seventy-five and one hundred but I reached pg. 111 @ 3:59pm.
- Took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Catherine who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, second arvo tea was one gloopy mouthful of delicious passionfruit and one huge mug of green tea. Happily read till 5:50pm; it's only Saturdays that I get to spend a blessed three hours reading! I finished pg. 125 @ exactly 4:45pm and reached pg. 150 @ exactly 5:20pm.
- Ised the loo for two more tinkles @ 5:55pm and then said my thanks and byes to Catherine.
- Happily watched the 6pm news. All the interesting surnames I saw while watching the 6pm news bulletin (Nine’s), read by Paul Taylor) for the 63RD time: Geran, Nicholls, Ha-teya (first name), Gripske, Probyn, Jiselle (first name), Manning, Albanese, Dutton (heard), Trump, Price, Thorburn (heard), Hansen, Baralt, Butler, Menendez (heard)Johnson, Palmer, Leniu (heard), Thurston, Robinson, Reynolds, Natochenney, Amalee (first name), Saunders, Wilson, Kearsley, Lravitt, Putin, Haig, DeChambeau,Hardwick, Kemp (heard), King (heard),Voss, McDermott, Horan,Hasler, Miles, Fisher, StolzNicholls and Bradnam. Adam Jackson read the sports report, Alice Stolz read the auction report and Luke Bradnam read the weather report from Sanctuary Cove. Brisbane was 19-27 today. Brisbane toms: 19-27. Mt. Gravatt toms: 18-26. Sunrise: 6:03am Sunset 5:34pm
- PIG mum got dearest dad to start dinner with her but without me @ 5:55pm. Once the news ended, I used the loo for one tinkle and then walked myself slowly and safely to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Dinner tonight: rice tonight, with leftover Hokkien noodles that I'd cooked with Dorrie yesterday! Also two lil pieces of leftover chicken, lotsa broccoli, lotsa carrot and two tasty slices of onion.
- Dinner was spooned down with one bowl of soup; after taking the bowl over to the sink I walked myself slowly and safely online, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Anyways, hopefully bbl after one loo trip @ 9pm with my final, final plodding total for today, the final, final evbents for tonight plus what's happening Sunday else looking forward to seeing everyone @ church toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
