Thursday Post 389

 Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2213 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's "Lincoln's Providence"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Intimacy, Dependency, Obedience (2) and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Never Overlooked By God'. Anyways, events for today?

• Yay, 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature - whoops, nearly forgot! 3734's my final, final plodding total for Wednesday and our opening GG social was SO MUCH FUN; yay for fried chicken with rice and bingsoo! Thanks to Dr. Lee who dropped me back off home afterwards and even helped me with my seatbelt since I've got crappy night vision and couldn't feel the seatbelt buckle.
• Take two: yay, 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:30am and after one pot :P trip I immediately fell back asleep since I knew PIG mum would get VERY noisy just over thirty minutes later!
• Sure enough, @ 8:05am noisy PIG mum a-THUMPING around upstairs wakes me for another pot :P trip, after which I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
• PIG mum lets herself into  my room to hit me with the eye goo and lets Karina inside when she announces her arrival @ 8:15am. Karina knocks,  opens the door and says good morning Emily; when I nod Pearl @ her she says "hitting the  snooze button for fifteen more minutes ..." Pearl gives another nod and Karina wisely removes herself but when she returns forty seconds too early Pearl very indignantly squeaks this to her; phew, Karina just laughs then goes to empty the pot :P first, thus giving me forty more seconds. XD
• When Karina comes back, I sit over the pot :P once for three more tinkles, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Karina who's already squirted some toothpaste for me.
• After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Karina, rousing @ her for AGAIN skipping breakfast and reminding she's better ger herself brunch after she's brought groceries for PIG mum this morning!
• Less than thirty minutes left, so just briefly: ate breakfast, did a stinky unspeakable and then attended GCCW.
• Eight people today; Ku's new: forty-one/two, from South Africa and chocolate coloured~
• Tammy brought CAKE for Valentine's Day toms and Ku got me seconds!! :D
• Homework for next meeting's opportunity. Ken was happily waffling but @ midday exactly, Stan and Mary started clearing everyone's cups and saucers. XD
• Got home and showered quickly - hairwash today. Also thanks to Karina who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
• Dried, creamed and rekitted lunch was a tuna and tomato and onion toastie with only one cheese and one yummy mug of vanilla chai.
• Signed Karina off with my thanks and byes @ 12:15pm. She's not back till next Thursday fortnight; wonder who's coming next Thursday?
• Once I've used up the most important two hours of my day, I'll sit over to the loo for one tinkle, head over to the gobbling :P table and read for one hour while waiting for PIG mum to gimme some arvo tea.
• Mel's taking me to book club @ 5:30pm!
• Best of all, it's ice cream night tonight! Like I always say, a very little's better than none @ all!
• Toms: Peggy's minding me from 9:30am till 2pm. Wonder where PIG mum'll send us?
• She's prolly got Dorrie coming back to gimme OT @ 2/2:30pm after Peggy leaves.
• Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing end to the week toms!
