Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2949 steps (so trusting I'll have cracked three grand before the day's out XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'The Greatest Love'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'You Choose: Your Calling/Your Comfort and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "God's Spacious Place". Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 15TH awesome consecutive sleep last night! Like yesterday, nature didn't call until 6:20am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P just before noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help exceedingly slightly with absolutely nothing but the bra strap before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I complied with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum returns to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sat over the loo for one tinkle, washed and dried Era and then walked myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Breakfast is two dry (no honey) Weet-Bix very lightly sprinkled with some Minus :P with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread very lightly with avocado and hopefully sprinkled with some salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- Thought Monicah was coming @ 10am but Mel came instead; I've not seen her since last year!
- Once PIG mum leaves Mel with instructions, she dashes off for her Pilates class. After breakfast, Mel accompanies me back to the bathroom. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Mel's car. Thanks to her who helps me buckle my seatbelt (as she kindly helps with all day) and then she tootles me off to Breathe for physio.
- Physio today: 2.467km bike ride, 36 leg-assisted pull-ups, 36 leg extensions for Elf, c36 v-bar cable rowing for both hands, 36 leg curls for Elf, tennis ball catching and throwing for Era and boxing!
- After one toilet trip (CZ258 unlocks the female bathroom; I used the ambulant stall @ the end while Mel used the regular one beside me) Mel tootles us off to Pinelands and grabs a trolley for us.
- First we buy groceries from Coles and then I buy a crunchy pork bahn mi from Pinelands Bakehouse; Aunty Nancy's back!
- Back home I take a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Mel who rinses out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch is my delicious crunchy pork bahn mi with one yummy mug of vanilla chai sweetened with one spoonful of golden syrup. Mel cleans the bathroom and then I sign her off with my thanks and byes. She's back Thursday 4-6pm. I'm 1.5 DECADES older than her!
- After I've finished lunch, I use the loo for one tinkle and then walk myself slowly and safely online, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Once I've used up the most important two hours of the day, I'll use the loo for one tinkle and then sit @ the gobbling :P table to read for one hour (thanks to Mel who grabbed me one of the novels I bought from the Lifeline Bookfest to start reading) and wait for PIG mum to gimme some arvo tea after she awakes from her long arvo nap.
- Hoping to watch the 6pm news bulletin (Seven's) for the 24TH time!
- Toms: hope PIG mum helps me up not too late and takes me grocery shopping somewhere, else expect a super-pissy plodding total from me.
- Unsure who's taking me to table tennis @ 2pm and seeing me home and showered before leaving @ 6:30pm (have emailed Michelle again asking) but I'm looking forward to watching the 6pm news for the 25TH time!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl else hope everyone has a smashing day toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
