Heylo again and good evening! Firstly, Em's new plodding total for Friday now stands @ 5392 and secondly, Joni's devotional topic's 'What Matters Most'. Righteo, continuing today's events?
- For my breakfast I get one bowl of healthy cereal (two dry - no honey -Weetbix very lightly sprinkled with some Minus :P) with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast lightly sprinkled with salt after being lightly spread with avocado), all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Jane covers both arms and my face and accompanies me back to the bathroom before returning to the kitchen and washing up the breakfast stuff. Over the loo proper, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Sarah (Jane's car's numberplate reads SAZ) and she tootles me off to Breathe for physio. Thanks to Jane who kindly helped me buckle my seatbelt all day.
- We arrive early enough that I get about ten minutes to play the Harry Potter version of Bejeweled. When Winnie comes for me, I immediately tell her the good news that funding for the new AFO has been approved, phew! She agreed to hold off the walking training for the Bridge To Brisbane until after I got my new boot and could finally walk without pain.
- Physio today: 1.817km bike ride, forty bar-assisted push-ups, forty step ups for Erf with left weight shift, forty v-bar cable rows for both hands, forty leg extensions for Elf, forty leg curls for Elf, tennis ball catching and throwing for Era and boxing!
- After one loo trip (CZ258 unlocks the female bathroom, and the second cubicle has an ambulant rail)) Jane tootled me off to the Rochedale Coles and grabbed a trolley for us before we bought groceries for my cooking session with Dorrie this arvo!
- Back home, I take a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Jane who helps me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was a tuna in tomato and onion toastie with thhe inside HEAVILY buttered and TWO cheese plus one delicious mug of New York breakfast from TT2; I think there's vanilla inside?
- Whoops, outta time, so just super-briefly:
- Cooked teriyaki chicken fried rice with Dorrie! Photos are on Facebook~
- Ate arvo tea (delicious mango, one tasty cracker and one huge mug of green tea) and read The Horse Whisperer for one hour., reaching pg. 250 @ exactly 3:33pm!
- Watched 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 19TH time. All the things I like recording are in the previous post.
- Used loo for one tinkle when summoned for dinner @ 7:37pm.
- Had dinner, drank soup, took bowl to sink and returned online.
- Righteo, hopefully brb after one last loo trip with my final, final plodding total for today, the final, final events for tonight plus what's happening toms else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!

Em. ^^
