Thursday Post 669

•  Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4214 steps (sweet, I'm over four grand; that doesn't happen very often!); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'How To Repent'; thirdly, TWFT topic's "Look For Opportunities To 'Do Good'" and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "Standing Strong In Christ". Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, 5th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Like yesterday, nature didn't call until 6:10am  and after  one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh* Oh, and my monthlies arrived; luckily, I was already wearing a pad since PIG mum didn't hear my call upstairs to her~
  • Mini Pearl and I happily cuddled and snored, me waking once more for the pot :P shortly before noisy PIG mum began her usual daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. When she enters my room I immediately inform her my monthlies have arrived. She hits me with the eye goo, gives poor Elf a very brief rub (since she totally ignored my poor foot last night, but Era rubbed her for fifteen minutes and let her wear her sock to sleep last night) and then returns outside awaiting the carer's arrival @ 9:30pm. Actually, the carer arrives late and PIG mum's already told me fifteen more minutes.  I immediately start counting down from 900, reminding her please ring CODA should nobody appear by 9:40am.
  • Phew, Louisa was just stuck in traffic and arrived shortly afterwards. After I used the pot :P for one more tinkle, we got me kitted and then I went over to the bathroom and brushed teeth, before sitting over the loo for one tinkle. After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Louisa, who tells me that she had some native food for breakfast.
  • For my breakfast, I munch one bowl of healthy cereal, pop all my usual drugs :P and drink one tall cup of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • Breakfast finished, I ask Louisa too please gimme some sunscreen before I return to the loo.  There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Louisa's car and she tootles us off to Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown  Thanks to her who kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt both ways.
  • Louisa finds a sideways park along level two and grabs a trolley for us. First, we buy groceries from Woolies then head downstairs and do the same @ Coles. Our last stop's the library, where I couldn't find any Lian Hearn novels but start another of Orson Scott Card's I'd never read before, called Children Of The Fleet!
  • Back home, I take my quickest nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Louisa who helps me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and rekitted, for lunch Louisa makes me a toasted tuna in tomato and onion toastie with TWO cheese and the inside HEAVILY buttered for lunch; I drink one delicious mug of powdered HK-style milk tea,
  • At 1pm I sign Louisa off with my thanks and byes; she's back same time next week. But she's a baby compared to me: she's not heard of Ronan Keating before! XD
  • After taking the cup to the sink, I use the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era then pop online.
  • Once I've used uo  the most important two hours of my day, I'll use the loo for one tinkle then sit @ the gobbling :P table and munch arvo tea. Hopefully PIG mum'll find where she/dad has put The Horse Whisperer!
  • Looking forward to watching the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 18TH time.
  • Best of all, it's ice cream night toms night! Like I always say, a very little's better than none @ all!
  • Toms: Jane's minding me like 9:30am till 1pm and taking me to Breathe for physio. Presuming we'll buy groceries somewhere afterwards?
  • Cooking fried rice with Dorrie afterwards!
  • Looking forward to reading for another hour and watching the 6pm news bulletin for the 19TH time!
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing end to the week toms!
