Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2681 steps (ha, I'm over 2.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Window Of The Heart'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Set Boundaries That Matter' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Kindness Unseen'. Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 15TH consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:25am, and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Mini Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P around 9am, shortly before noisy PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and give poor Elf an extremely brief rub, since she'd totally ignored my poor foot last night. That's alright; Era rubbed her for fifteen minutes and let her wear her sock to sleep last night but obviously peeled her sock first thing this morning! XD
- When Daisy hadn't arrived by 9:35am, PIG mum gave me fifteen more minutes. I complied and immediately started counting down, reminding her to please ring CODA should she not appear by 9:40am but phew, Daisy arrived shortly afterwards~
- After I'd counted fifteen minutes and she'd entered my room, I used the pot :P for one more tinkle and she got me kitted, before I went over to the bathroom and brushed teeth. That done, I sat over the loo for one tinkle, washed and dried Era then headed out too the gobbling :P table with Daisy, who told me that she had two fried eggs for breakfast this morning.
- For my breakfast, I had one bowl of healthy cereal, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Also thanks to Daisy for one cup of delicious vanilla chai, even though she couldn't locate where sneaky PIG had hidden the sweetener. *sigh* Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I asked Daisy please to apply some sunscreen over both arms and my face. That done, she accompanied me back to the bathroom before going back to the kitchen and washing up the breakfast stuff. Over the loo proper, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Daisy's car and she tootles me off to Calamvale Central for my cheap haircut. Strange, she confidently tells me that she knows this area well but doesn't know to park underground where the lift opens right besides Go Cutt; instead, she parks all the way @ the other end and I've gotta hike the ENTIRE LENGTH of the shopping centre to reach the haircut place? Doesn't matter, since she grabbed a trolley for us~
- H aving awful facial recognition, I don't recognise the hairdresser until she says (in Canto) 'duck mm duck' @ the end! Why I love coming here for a haircut: it's the only time I'm prompted to look down! Mother's always demanding I look up; the reason I'm tempted to watch my feet while I struggle to walk's because I can't feel my left foot while I'm walking and what if she suddenly falls off?? o_O
- Afterwards, Daisy and I hike back to her car (while I was waiting for the haircut she'd tried moving her car back underground, but all the spots were taken; thanks instead she found a park about halfway) and she tootles me home for a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Daisy who helped me rinse out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, Daisy made me a tuna in tomato and onion toastie with TWO cheese and HEAVILY buttered (on the inside XD) for lunch; PIG mum came back and fetched me one packet of powdered HK-style milk tea to drink~
- At 1pm I said my thanks and byes to Daisy. She's only twenty-four but has a beautiful four-month-old baby girl!
- After I've used up my most important two hours of the day online, I'll use the loo for one tinkle, ask PIG mum for some arvo tea then sit and read the north Korean book for one hour.
- Hoping to watch the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 10TH time!
- Best of all, it's ice cream night toms night; like I always say, a very little's better than none @ all!
- Toms: Jane's minding me from 9:30am till 2pm. Presume we're buying groceries for my cooking adventure with Dorrie toms arvo; we're making dumplings!
- Hoping to read the North Korean book for one hour and watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 11TH time!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing end to their week toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
