Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4469 steps (cool I'm over four grand; that doesn't happen very often!); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'How To Serve A Bad Boss'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Your Rewards In Heaven' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Our Birthright In Christ'. Anyways, events for today?
- Nature called once around 1:30am; after another pot :P trip following the Sun's rising, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Nature calls again around 7:45am and once more around 9am, just before PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before returning outside and awaiting Peggy's arrival only to come back inside and gimme fifteen more minutes saying Peggy's late! That'd odd; Peggy's always very punctual and I immediately start counting down from 900 seconds, reminding PIG mum please ring CODA should Peggy have not come by 9:40am.
- Phew, Peggy arrives after I've counted down four minutes and sweet, she gives me fifteen more minutes all over again! After she comes back and I'm using the pot :P for one more tinkle I ask her was she late since she'd been stuck in traffic and she screeches back because school's only just starting for the new year, some grandparents are doing the school drop-off run and taking the scenic route! XD
- Whoops less than thirty minutes left, so just super-briefly:
- Had breakfast, did stinky unspeakable then saw Winnie for physio: 1.66km bike ride, forty bar-assisted push-ups, forty steps for Elf, forty v-bar cable rows for both hands, forty leg curls for Elf, forty leg extensions for Elf, tennis ball catching and throwing for Era and boxing!
- Used loo for one tinkle (CZ258 unlocks the female bathroom and the second rail's ambulant) then went with Peggy to Pinelands Coles to buy milk and get my once-weekly crunchy pork bahn mi for lunch from the Pinelands Bakehouse. Unfortunately, all the disabled parks outside Coles were taken and Peggy didn't find a park until near the post office. *sigh*
- Got home and took a nice warm shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was my delicious toasted crunchy pork bahn mi plus one huge mug of delicious vanilla chai; just pity Peggy couldn't find where the sneaky parents had hidden the sweetener! *sigh*
- Signed Peggy off with my thanks and byes @ 2pm; she's back same time next week.
- Used loo for one tinkle, popped online and did my daily Bible readings. Thanks to Peggy who left a pen for me.
- Looking forward to watching the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 15TH time!
- Toms: PIG mum says she'll take me out somewhere toms before coming home for lunch and then Jane's taking me to play table tennis @ 1:30pm! Let there be cake~ XD Hope Kim's back!
- Jane will see me home and showered before leaving @ 6:30pm, hoping to watch the 6pm news for the 16TH time!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing Tuesday ahead!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
