Good afternoon again! Take two: firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1708 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Command That Creates'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Unselfishness; The Secret Of A Happy Marriage' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Comfort Of God' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ONE HOUR and TWENTY-THREE MINUTES online after I get home from table tennis, watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 10TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 14TH consecutive awesome sleep last night! Pretty sure that's the first time I've begun any year with one whole FORTNIGHT of consecutive awesome sleeps! Not only that, my first dream for 2026 was a FOOD dream; I was holding a tray of strawberry jam jelly, straight from the oven; is strawberry jam jelly even a thing??
- Anyway, nature didn't call until 7:20am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Daddy Bear and I happily cuddled and snored, me waking once more for the pot :P
