Saturday Post 639

 Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2333 steps (pity I'll not have plodded 1000 more steps before Saturday's out; 3333 would've looked cooler! XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Prevailing Grace'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Always Do Your Best' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Focused On God' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY-FOUR MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 20TH time!! Anyways, events for today?

• Yay, 7th consecutive awesome consecutive awesome sleep last night! Today's the last day in January and I've already managed three one-week consecutive awesome sleeps; maybe I can manage TWENTY-FIVE again this year? I've not achieved that for half a DECADE; the last time that happened was 2021!
• Nature didn't call until 6:10am and  after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
• Mini Pearl and I happily cuddled and snored. When nature called again around 7:45am, following another pot :P trip, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
• More happy cuddling and snoring for Mini Pearl and me, nature calling once more around 9:15pm when noisy PIG mum's daily noisy a-THUMPING around wakes me for one more pot :P trip. At 9:30am, she lets herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and say fifteen more minutes, since I'll get up once Jane arrives @ 9:45am.
• Once PIG mum lets Jane inside and she enters my bedroom saying good morning, I immediately sit up, use the pot :P for one more tinkle and we get me kitted. That done, I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. After drinking one tall cup of water, I   sit over the loo proper.There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!

• After washing and drying Era I head out to the gobbling :P table with Jane, who says she had her usual breakfast smoothie for her morning meal.

• I enjoyed my once-weekly fried egg on one slice of dry (unbuttered) bread very lightly spread with avocado, drank   another tall cup of water, popped all my usual drugs :P and enjoyed my first mug of  white tea sweetened with one big spoonful of honey. Over and after breakfast, I happily   read for thirty minutes first up, reaching pg.  275 @ exactly 10:05am!

Bronte Gildea read the sports report and Luke Bradnam read the weather report from  - lol, the news only went for thirty minutes since it's the female finals of the AO tonight! XD
