Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4249 steps (sweet I'm over four grand; that doesn't happen very often!); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's "What's Meekness?"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Be True To The Scriptures' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'The Son Of God' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FOURTEEN MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 62ND time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Aww, my awesome sleep streak ended around 2am this morning but doesn't matter: 'twas otherwise a sound sleep~
- Nature called again once the Sun had risen; after another pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P just after 9am, shortly before noisy PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside and awaiting Peggy's arrival @ 9:30am.
- After PIG mum lets Peggy in, Peggy knocks, pushes open the door and announces, "Good morning." After I wave Cowpig @ her, she next announces, "Fifteen more minutes." I wave Cowpig @ her again and she thankfully removes herself, thus saving her from the wrath of the Bear Bum. XD
- When Peggy returns, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who squirts some toothpaste for me.
- Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one more tinkle, wash and dry Era and then head out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy, who told me that she had her usual two hardboiled eggs for breakfast this morning.
- For my breakfast, PIG mum sticks one bowl of yummy Fruity Bites on the table for me. Peggy THICKLY spreads avocado over a slice of RAISIN toast for me; I also pop all my usual drugs: p and drink one full mug of water. Suddenly Peggy places a huge mug of white tea in front of me, saying "Second water." I'm eloquent with my thanks but Peggy waves them off, saying sorry I couldn't find where your mum hid the sugar/honey. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Auto (pronounced Alto) and Peggy tootles me off to Breathe for physio. Thanks to her who kindly helped me with my seatbelt all day. Arriving super-early @ Breathe, we both poke @ our mobiles (me playing Jewels and Peggy playing Tetris) before heading inside @ 10:50am.
- Physio today: 2.008km bike 🏍 ride, 36 leg-assisted pull-ups, 36 leg extensions for Elf, 36 leg curls for Elf, 36 v-bar rows for both hands, tennis ball catching and throwing for Era and boxing!
- After one tinkle in the ambulant cubicle of the ladies' loo (CZ258 unlocks it), Peggy tootles us off to Warrigal Square for grocery shopping and grabs a trolley for us after securing a disabled parking spot.
- Have I said before? The Warrigal Square Woolies looks really fancy with it's extended self-serve checkouts! Yay that Peggy lemme sit and rest the legs while she scanned our items.
- Back home I take a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who rinses out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted PIG mum had lunch ready for me once I emerged from the bathroom: one tuna in tomato and onion toastie with only one slice of cheese and one huge mug of green tea.
- At 1:55pm I sat over the loo for two tinkles. Coming out, Syn had just arrived, hence why I entered my room and lay down for Syn to assess Ela.
- That done, Syn helped me tie my shoelaces, I used the loo for one tinkle and then I sat down @ the computer and did one set of the FitMi exercises. Phew, Syn says I've not gotta do them again tonight~
Cheers,
Em. ^^
