Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4894 steps (so hopefully I'll be more than half a normal person before the night's out) today; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Dirty Rags No More'; thirdly, TWFT topic's "Don't Break, Bounce Back (1)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Salty Answers' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed TWENTY-NINE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 52ND time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Lol, lucky my idiot bladder lemme achieve the 10TH time I enjoyed one straight week of awesome sleeps the night before ending it last night when she nudged me awake and demanded I use the pot: P around 12:45am. XD
- Nature called again after the Sun had risen; after another pot :p trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P around 9am shortly before PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before going back outside and awaiting Peggy's arrival @ 9:30am.
- After PIG mum lets Peggy inside @ 9:30am, Peggy knocks, opens the door and calls good morning. When I wave Pearl @ her, she next announces fifteen more minutes. Another nod from Pearl and she thankfully removes herself; phew, since Pearl's anatomically incapable of giving the Bear Bum! XD
- I actually fall lightly back asleep but wake when Peggy slides closed the bathroom door when she uses the loo once more before coming and helping me up.
- When Peggy reenters my room, I use the loo for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who squirts some toothpaste for me.
- After brushing teeth, I sit over the loo for one more tinkle, wash and dry Era and then head out to the gobbling :P table, who tells me that she had her two usual fried eggs for breakfast.
- For my breakfast, I have one bowl of healthy cereal with one slice of toast lightly spread with avocado but actually lightly sprinkled with salt (PIG mum just sprinkles the plate but misses the bread entirely XD), all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Peggy accompanies me back to the bathroom then returns to wash my breakfast dishes. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Auto (pronounced Alto) and Peggy tootles me off to Breathe for physio. Thanks muchly to her who kindly helped me with my seatbelt all day.
- Since we arrive early, we both poke @ our mobiles for awhile before heading inside @ 10:50am. Connor wanders over and snuffles heylo~
- The double amputee lady has physio just before me; like I mentioned the first time I saw her, with one prosthetic leg (like Uncle Wallace) you ambulate with a disabled gait, but when both your legs are prosthetic, you can walk normally!
- Physio today: 2.022km bike ride, 36 leg-assisted pull-ups, 36 leg extensions for Elf, 36 leg curls for, 36 v-bar rows for both hands, tennis ball catching and throwing for Era and boxing!
- After one loo trip (CZ258 unlocks the female loo and the second cubicle's an ambulant one, Peggy tootles us off to Warrigal Square to buy groceries and grabs a trolley for us. Unfortunately, all the disabled parks and normal parks are gone, and she doesn't get a spot until the final row! Only when we walk back to Woolies a disabled spot becomes free; Peggy steers the trolley into the spot, instructs me to hold the trolley there and goes back to move her car to the space. While Era's hanging onto the trolley, some Chinese woman standing there sees me and asaks are you okay? I'm okay, thanks, I reply, before adding xie xie (in Chinese, thanks) and the woman nods.
- Once Peggy parks her car in the disabled spot, we head into Woolies and buy groceries. Peggy also buys stuff for herself and Mr. Thomas.
Cheers,
Em. ^^
