Good evening! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4655 steps (ha, I'm over 4.5 grand; that doesn't happen often! XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's "Something To Boast About"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Much More/Much Less (2)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'God Knows Best' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 63RD time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Nature called twice just after midnight; after I'd used the pot :P again following the Sun's rising, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Cowpig and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking again for the pot :P around 9am, just before noisy PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo, before going back outside and awaiting Caroline's arrival. While she's gone, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After PIG mum lets Caroline in, she instructs Caroline to gimme fifteen more minutes. Cowpig waves her away and I count down my fifteen more minutes in peace.
- When Caroline comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. After drinking one full mug of water, I sit over the loo proper. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Caroline.
- Breakfast is my once-weekly fried egg (but Caroline scrambled rather than fried it) on one slice of dried (unbuttered) toast with a very thin bed of avocado, one full mug of water, all my usual drugs :P and my first mug of white tea with one spoonful of honey. Once I've finished it, I ask Caroline please for another mug but she says I may have two after I shower. Over and after breakfast I happily read the Philipps Gregory novel for thirty minutes first up.
- One more tinkle for me while Caroline closes and locks windows before I climb into the passenger seat of Caroline's car. Thanks to her who helps me buckle my seatbelt (as she kindly does all day) and then she tootles us off to Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown, parking across the road on level two and grabbing a trolley for us.
- Lol today we only buy a sushi roll from Sushi Paradise on level four! I choose the beef yakiniku one since they're not offering a honey chicken one, dulp!
- Back home, I take my quickest nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Caroline who helps me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was two more of those delicious savoury muffins Dorrie made with me yesterday plus two more big mugs of white tea with one teaspoonful of honey. Caroline makes tea not too hot, yay!
- Before Caroline tootled me off to church to play table tennis with dearest dad, I sat over the loo for one more tinkle.
- At church, dad got her to play with me! Caroline's a leftie and played back in her home country; she's heaps better than me! But then again, everyone is. XD
- Uncle Simon's back from HK and played with me! When I groused @ him why didn't he eat his head off and come back heaps fatter, he tugged his shirt and cried, "But I did!" XD
- Uncle Sam kindly umbrellaed dad back down to his car, since dad was umbrellaing me.
- Back home, I used the loo for one tinkle and then sat to hopefully read till three hours, but after reaching pg. 325 @ 2:58pm, reaching pg. 333 @ 3:09pm, reaching pg. 350 @ exactly 3:35pm, finishing pg. 375 @ 4:08, paused @ 3:56pm for a tinkle (arvo tea had been my delicious beef yakiniku sushi plus one huge mug of green tea) and then I FINISHED THE BOOK @ 4:26pm, with the author's note finished five minutes later!
Cheers,
Em.
