Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 5949 steps (sweet I'm more than half a normal person today! XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Seven Sources Of Joy'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Learn To Delegate' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Humble Honor' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FORTY-THREE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 55TH time. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, for the first time in three days, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:45am and after one pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Cowpig and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P shortly before PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help exceedingly slightly with only the bra strap and the tee before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum comes back to finish with absolutely nothing bar EWlf's AFO straps and both laces before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Breakfast is two plain (no honey) Weet-Bix very lightly sprinkled with some Minus :P with one slice of toast very lightly spread with avocado and hopefully sprinkled with some salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh* But thanks to PIG mum who let Faith inside when she announced her arrival @ 10am, thus saving me from a potentially dangerous trip to the front door myself. Lol, it's been @ least two months since I last saw her but when she walked down the hallway and bid me good morning, I'd just stuffed a mouthful of Weet-Bix into my gob and could only make some unintelligible sound in return! XD
- After breakfast, Faith slathers sunscreen over me and then walks behind me back to the bathroom, before returning to the kitchen to wash my breakfast dishes, close and lock windows, etc. Over the loo proper, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Faith's car and she tootles us off to Pinelands Plaza. Thanks to her who helped me buckle my seatbelt all day.
- Yay, there was a disabled park available for us this morning~ Faith went and got a trolley for us while I updated on Facebook.
- After buying groceries @ Coles, I went and got my once-weekly crunchy pork bahn mi from Aunty Nancy.
- Back home, I used the loo for one tinkle then sat down @ the gobbling :P table to enjoy my yummy crunchy pork bahn mi and one big mug of delicious vanilla chai; yay that Faith found some sweetener!
- At 12:15pm I got back into Faith's car and she tootled me off to the NAB for my final physio session with Phillip.
- For physio today, Jem accompanied us up to the Great Court and I took my first hike around it for 2025! I manage to contain the tears but I was dying inside: two DECADES ago I hiked around the place studying law and excited about what the future may bring; twenty-years later I need just over forty minutes to hike the circumference. >< *sigh* At least Jem helped me take a nice photo somewhere~
Cheers,
Em. ^^
