Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2428 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Five Digital Dangers'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'The Kids Are Watching You (2)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "God's Gracious Abundance. Anyways, events for today?
- Unsurprising I didn't sleep well last night and needed the pot :P around 2am; when I spoke on the phone with Aunty Lai last night, she told me that Aunty Nga had contracted COVID! o_O
- After nature called again once the Sun had risen, after another pot :P trip I immediately fell back asleep, since I knew PIG mum would get very noisy one hour later!
- Sure enough, noisy PIG mum's a-THUMPING around upstairs wakes me for another pot :P trip, I've only just returned to bed when she lets herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help exceedingly slightly with absolutely nothing bar the bra strap and tee before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first. Whilst doing so, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- PIG mum returns to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both shoelaces before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Breakfast's one bowl of porridge, Minus :P and Special K with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very lightly spread with avocado and hopefully very lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the bathroom, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the backseat of PIG mum's car and buckle my own seatbelt. PIG mum tootles us off to church, parking outside the hall. I hike up the ramp, use the last cubicle of the normal ladies' loo for one tinkle, wash and dry both hands and then grab my usual spot in service @ the most left. PIG mum bolts back upstairs for the Canto service @ 8:45am.
- Yay, I get to stay seated for worship today. I sing everything, plus the harmony for four songs but like every other week, meant absolutely NOTHING. >< *sigh*
- Speaker today was the new Mandarin pastor @ BCAC! 'Rooted In Christ' was his sermon topic and Serena translated for him~
- After service ended twelve minutes early, I used the toilet again myself, grabbed a packet of Arnott's bikkies for morning tea and took a seat outside the hall.
- Lol, I didn't recognise Aunty Lai Wah; originally I thought she was Aunty Cynthia! But Aunty Cynthia came over and promised to help me make the parents a present for their wedding anniversary come August!
- Unfortunately, lunch was back @ Hungry Jack's. Dad enjoyed a fried chicken burger himself but gleefully restricted me to the most basic chicken burger (chicken royale), around ten chips and an orange juice. *sigh* At least Aunty Yvonne and Uncle Stephen came to eat with us~
- Back home, I used the loo for one more tinkle and then walked myself slowly and safely back online, always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Listening to the Broncos play the Dragons on ABC radio right now!
- Toms: PIG mum's taking Aunty Lai Wah touristing around, so dad'll take me to see Ray for some acupuncture and massage. Hopefully we'll grocery shop afterwards, else expect a super-pissy plodding total from me.
- Angelica's minding me from 3:30pm till 5:30pm
- Fingers crossed I'll get to watch the 6pm news for the 64TH time!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing week ahead!
