Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2445 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'A People For His Name'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Born To Believe (1)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'A Mom Looks Back'. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 6th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:15am and after one pot :P trip I immediately fell back asleep, since I knew PIG mum would get very noisy exactly one hour later!
- Like clockwork, PIG mum going a-THUMPING around exactly one hour later wakes me again for the pot :P, after which she enters my room to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with not only the bra strap but the tee (since dearest dad's home) before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first. Whilst doing so, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- PIG mum returns to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then dry Era before walking myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- PIG mum deems it's finally cold enough to feed me one bowl of plain porridge for breakfast! I slurp that with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very lightly spread with avocado and hopefully very lightly sprinkled with some salt, all my drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the bathroom, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the backseat of PIG mum's car and buckle my own seatbelt (what I do all day). PIG mum tootles us off to church and parks outside the hall. I hike up the ramp, use the second cubicle of the normal lady's loo (since both the disabled and first cubicle of the normal ladies' loo have lids closed but horrid PIG mum won't lift it up for me), wash and dry both hands and then head into service but don't grab my usual spot since when I approach the entrance Ella tells me I'm doing welcome with her and kindly grabs me a chair!
- When the chairperson says service will start soon, Ella kindly walks behind me to my seat @ the back on the most left.
- Sweet, I get to stay seated for worship today. I sing everything, plus the harmony for all four songs but like every other week, meant absolutely NOTHING. >< *sigh*
- Speaker today was Pastor Peter Pie; he began a new sermon series about spiritual gifts~
- Aww, how adorable! The littlelies came and gave the mum's a present for Mother's Day, Aunty Miranda/ci mol was sitting beside me; after a lil boy gave her the present the aunty prompted him, "And what do you say?" The adorable little tyke looked straight @ me, saying very sweetly in Cantonese. "Happy Mother's Day!" I say aww and point him to repeat that to Aunty Miranda, since I'm not a mum! XD
- After service ended eleven minutes early and PIG mum collected me, I used the first cubicle of the normal lady's loo, washed and dried both hands, grabbed a packet of Arnott's bikkies then sat outside the hall again for morning tea. Aunty Cynthia came to show me some artwork she'd done with other church ladies only yesterday while Aunty Yvonne comes and says cya @ Hungry Jack's for lunch soon!
- For lunch I get a cheeseburger (I'm not a fan since Hungry Jack's ones come with custard), exactly ten chips and one small orange juice. Looking forward to Toastmasters this Tuesday, after which I should get a small packet all to myself! ^^
- Back home, I used the loo for one tinkle then called dad into my room to help me find the Mother's Day gift for PIG mum, only 'twas hidden so well dad couldn't find it either! XD
- When PIG mum returned home from her coffee and gossip social session with the other aunties I headed back into my downstairs bedroom and requested, she find the present so I could give it to her! XD
- That done, I walked myself slowly and safely online, always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Toms: late morning session to see Ray for some acupuncture and massage. Bet PIG mum's simply DYING to yap unceasingly @ him. XD
- Will buy groceries with her and walk shopping aisles with her afterwards so confident I'll have cracked one grand before we return home for lunch with dearest dad.
- Lorraine's minding me from 3:30pm till 5:30. Looking forward to spending another hour reading Wind In The Willows; think I've nearly finished it?
- Also looking forward to watching the 6pm news bulletin for the 59TH time!
