Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3130 steps (ha, I'm over three grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Freest Love'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'The Kids Are Watching You (1)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Following God'. Anyways, events for today?
- When nature called @ 2am, over the pot :P I could hear the rain bucketing down and thought score, won't haveta hike through Underwood Park with Mary today! XD
- After another pot :P trip once the Sun had risen, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- PIG mum wakes me for another pot :P trip around 9:15am with her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Before she lets herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
After PIG mum opens the door for Mary, she intructs Mary to gimme fifteen more minutes. Mary knocks, pushes open the door and bids me good morning. When I wave Cowpig back @ her she giggles with delight and goes "Aww, how cute!" before adding, "Fifteen more minutes, okay, Em?" Another nod from Cowpig and she thankfully removes herself, thus saving her from the wrath of the Bear Bum. XD
When Mary comes back, I use the loo for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I drink one full mug of water before sitting over the loo proper. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
Over and after breakfast I happily read Boy Swallows Universe for thirty minutes.
But May's smart and does a parallel park along level two before grabbing a trolley for us.
When nature suddenly called @ 3pm, I walked myself slowly and safely once more to the loo for one tinkle and back, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
Once I've used up the most important two hours of my day, I'll use the loo for one tinkle, munch my delicious honey chicken sushi roll and read Boy Swallows Universe for another one hour and fifty minutes, since it's only Saturdays that I get to spend a blessed three hours with my nose buried in a book~
Will skip watching the 6pm news for the 63RD time to achieve that!
Toms: just church, nothing special. Will haveta eat lunch with dad @ Hungry Jack's again and expecting a stressful arvo @ the hands of PIG mum but planning to watch the Broncos play @ 2pm!
Wonder where dad'll take us for our once-weekly dinner out? Haven't enjoyed a proper meal out since the beginning of May; wonder when the next one will come? Perhaps not until the Toastmasters pub dinner for the changeover function @ the end of next month, ugh ... *sigh*
Anyways, hopefully bbl else looking forward to seeing everyone @ church toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
