Friday Post 330

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard  @ work plodding only 870 steps (since I've used Sparkless3 but will hopefully reach 1000 before the night's out);  secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Six Ways Jesus Fought Depression';  thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Holy Communion' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'God Watching Over Us'. Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, 6th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Despite me praying before bed last night asking Got   please don't send the noisy garbage truck THUNDERING down our road to tip bins until AFTER the Sun has risen fully enough that I can clearly see the time from the clock on the wall, God replied screw you and sent that noisy beat HURTLING down the road when the sky  had only just started lightening and 'twas definitely too dark to see the clock! >< Doesn't matter; I just went screw You back  and successfully fell back asleep without incident. When I've been frustrated PIG mum's heard me telling God I'm not gonna let You win and she sneers @ me, who  are you to  win  God? Me: I'm not,  obviously. Hello, He's GOD. I'm just saying that I'm not gonna let Him win. Case in point today: I  successfully fell back asleep without incident.
  • Nature doesn't call  again until  PIG mum's daily loud a-THUMPING around wakes me; I'm actually still sitting over the pot :P when she lets herself into my room to  hit me with the eye goo and  help me exceedingly slightly with  absolutely nothing bar the bra strap and laying out  the tops before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after immediately struggling into  the tops and giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
  • PIG mum returns and finishes with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to  the bathroom  and brush teeth. That done I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry   Era then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
  • Breakfast is one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very lightly spread with some avocado and hopefully very lightly sprinkled with some salt, one mug of warm unsweetened Milo, all my usual drugs :P  and one full mug of water. Thanks to PIG mum who kindly turned on Sunrise for my viewing pleasure! Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After finishing breakfast, I walk myself slowly  and safely back to the toilet, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.  There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying  Era, I sit by the front door and await Louiza's arrival. Once she gets here, Spatkless3 goes into her carboot, I climb into the passenger seat and Louiza tootles  me off to Ken's funeral and unloads me into Sparkless3 before taking me to  the disabled loo once. Then we just wait on the veranda; lol we're so  early nobody else from GCCW has arrived yet!
  • But phew, Nancy, Stewart and Alison soon  arrive as does Stan who's driven his wife Jan, Alison and Pat~
  • Once the room's open I head inside and transfer to a most  left seat  about halfway down the room. Louiza stashes away Sparkless3 then sits beside me; Stan and Jan complete the row while Rob, Sattya, Stewart and Pat sit one row ahead.
  • It's a secular  service without  any hymns sung nor preaching from any pastor but Ken's relatives (one son, two daughters together and one granddaughter) plus Rob for GCCW speak. It's a closed casket funeral.
  • When everyone starts filing out, Louiza gets Sparkless3 for  me,  while a funeral attendant waits with me.
  • Ken's plot is quite close to    the chapel/service hall  and I'm very impressed with  how high tech  things are now! His coffin was lowered smoothly without labour into his grave and then  everyone came and put a little spadeful  of dirt into the still open grave. At  first Louiza said she thinks only  family are invited to   do that but when I saw non-family members lining up to do it too I told Louiza I wanted to   as well;  would she please push me over there/could she walk  behind  me? We'd come off the main road and were  on the grass but Louiza still managed to push Sparkless 3 over; someone handed me the little spade with dirt inside, I tipped  it's contents into the open grave over the closed casket and whispered a final  goodbye to Ken.
  • And that was it! Back near the entrance, we all sat around round tables and nibbled fancy morning tea (healthy sandwiches, mini quiches, fruit and some sweet slice).
  • Before  leaving Louiza took me once more to  the loo  and Maureen came for a hug goodbye.
  • Back inside the car I asked Louiza did mother gimme money for lunch and since she replied no, rang PIG  mum and asked um, what was lunch? PIG mum just  replied come home.
  • Took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Louiza who  helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my  stupid right eye tightly  shut.
  • Dried, creamed and  rekitted lunch  was one bowl of tasteless rice leftovers and one huge mug of green tea.
  • Louiza cleaned the bathroom and I sat once more over the loo for  two tinkles before signing her off with my  thanks and byes. Can't remember when she's coming back.
  • Once I've used up the  most important two hours of my day online (5:45pm) I'll quietly wolf down arvo  tea, use the loo for one tinkle then watch  the 6pm news  bulletin (Nine's) for the 158TH time.
  • Toms:  someone new's minding me... Pele! Sorry she's been  @  least once before! She's from Care Agency; hopefully she'll feed me three big mugs of white tea with  sweetener~
  • Presume we're getting my sushi roll for arvo  tea plus whatever groceries PIG mum wants from Woolies?
  • Will prolly play table tennis with   dad @ church toms arvo then looking to reading all arvo:  starting the book  club novel  toms with  three hours' reading and it's only  a tiny book this time!
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl,  else wishing everyone a smashing weekend ahead!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
