Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1815 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's "God's Plan For Martyrs; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Act And React Like A Christian' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'New Life For Dead Hearts'. Anyways, events for today?
- Phew that I achieved my 11TH week of consecutive awesome sleeps yesterday coz nature immediately called last night/this morning and ended it! >< XD
- Following the first daylight pot :P trip I immediately did the two exercises Winnie taught me to prevent further back pain and then I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P around 9am, shortly before PIG mum's noisy daily a-THUMPING around upstairs begins. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and give poor Elf's ankle a very brief rub since she'd totally ignored her last night. That's alright, Era rubbed her for fifteen minutes and let her wear her sock to sleep last night but obviously tugged the sock off first thing this morning! XD
- When the carer didn't arrive @ 9:45pm precisely, PIG mum immediately gave me fifteen more minutes. I complied and reminded her to ring CODA @ 9:40am should the carer not have turned up.
- Sure enough, I heard PIG mum ring CODA @ 9:40am; five minutes later she helps me up. Phew, the carer from Staffing Options arrives just before PIG mum sticks Elf's AFO on! It's been three months since I last saw Fay and her boy's doing grade one @ some private school now!
- I brush teeth, use the loo for one tinkle then head out to the gobbling :P table with Fay.
- Breakfast is one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast lightly spread with avocado and lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- Breakfast finished, I ask Faye to please gimme some sunscreen (face and both hands) before she accompanies me back to the bathroom then returns to the kitchen and washes the breakfast dishes up. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Fay's car and she tootles me off to Underwood Park for my 8th hike around the lake this year!
- Today we see lotsa babies being pushed inside baby strollers, dogs and a Canto aunty even teaches me that water dragons are called 'sek yek' in Canto! Yup, Gimpy came out for awhile~
- Back home, I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Fay who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was a tuna in tomato and onion toastie with only one cheese and a packet of powdered HK-style milk tea. Fay cleans the bathroom and dad immediately tries to send her away but I protest isn't Faye meant to stay until 2pm? Besides, she said she'd help me put on my puffer vest first! Lol, dad was so eager to get rid of her early that he brought the vest out and helped me with it himself! XD
- When I said my thanks and byes to Fay I added cya November since she said I last saw her four months ago and four months later it's November! XD
- Finished lunch, took cup to sink, used loo for one tinkle, did my daily Bible readings and used loo for another tinkle before popping online for myself.
- At 5:45pm I'll ask PIG mum for a quick bite of arvo tea then I'll use the loo for one more tinkle before watching the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 172ND time!
- Best of all it's ice cream night toms night; like I say every week, a very little's better than none @ all!
- Toms: Louiza's coming @ like 8am and taking me for two hours of physio @ UQ with Vincente. She'll see me showered and fed with lunch before leaving @ 2pm.
- Then Ari's coming and making some tofu dish with me; PIG mum's prepping the tofu tonight! Hoping to read for one hour afterwards and watch the 6pm news for the 173RD time~
- Anyways, hopefully bbl tonight, else wishing everyone hope everyone has a smashing end to their week toms!
