Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1655 steps (ha, I'm over 1.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Preach To Yourself'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Step Out And Do It!' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Prepared To Help'. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:30am, and after one pot :P trip I spend ten
minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking
him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I
need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the
satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can
be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me
through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy
and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my
teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking again for the pot :P when noisy PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and give por Elf a very brief rub, since she'd totally ignored my poor foot last night. Actually, she'd hit me with the eye goo last night then left me to get myself to bed; since dearest dad had already headed upstairs also, I scooted the kitchen chair to the fridge and got the milk, scooted to the benchtop and poured myself one mouthful, scooted back to the fridge to replace the milk then scooted back to the dining table and left the chair in it's original position. XD Yay also that Elf wore her sock to sleep last night although obviously Era peeled the sock off first thing this morning! XD
- When Morine hadn't arrived @ 8:01pm, PIG mum opened the bedroom door and snapped @ me, "She's not here Fifteen more minutes." I immediately complying, asking PIG mum please to ring CODA on-call should she not have arrived by 8:10am.
- Phew she arrives shortly afterwards and PIG mum instructs her to help me up @ 8:15am.
- When Morine taps me @ 8:15am, I sit up, say good morning and use the pot :P for three more tinkles. Sure enough, she'd been stuck in traffic this morning.
- We get me kitted, I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth before sitting over the loo for one tinkle. After washing and dry Era, I walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above
the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him
push me over.
- Breakfast is one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very thinly spread with avocado and hopefully very thinly sprinkled with salt, one full mug of water, all my usual drugs :P and another mug of Milo. Thanks to Morine who turns on Sunrise for my viewing pleasure~ Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After finishing breakfast, I ask Morine please to gimme (both hands, face and neck) some sunscreen then she walks behind me back to the bathroom then returns to the kitchen and washes the breakfast stuff up. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Morine's car (what luxury! Last night I enjoyed a ride in a BMW that had a SEAT WARMER and today I got a ride in Morine's Lexus! :D) and she tootles me off to GGCW! She kinda gets lost and doesn't park outside the library, meaning it's a longer than usual hike for me, hence why I skip the initial bathroom visit since I'm already ten minutes late but the meeting doesn't start until after I arrived and Nancy still arrives LATER than me! XD
- Nine attended today, Tammy helped me once to the bathroom @ morning tea time and Merlyn brought tiramisu CAKE and I even got seconds! :D Actually I even had 3rds and 4ths since she left me the last two slices and I said I'd share one with Morine but Morine said nah you enjoy I've already eaten! There's three weeks until the next meeting and homework's A face in the mirror.
- The meeting ended ten minutes early but since Morine and I stayed behind for cake and I used the loo once more before leaving I showered half-fast after arriving home since Morine was leaving @ 1:30pm. Also, I bumped into Sarah Shakibaie (sp?) She was walking with one bub (maybe preschool-age?) and pushing another in a baby stroller but said "Hi, Em!" when I walked towards her (at the returns machine of the library). I've got awful facial recognition but phew, identified her. XD
- Showered half-fast after arriving home - hairwash today. Also thanks to Morine who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch was one bowl of rice leftovers plus one huge mug of powdered HK-style milk tea. Alas that today marks one whole WEEK since I last enjoyed a proper meal out but fingers crossed another comes soon!
- Only thirty minutes left, so just briefly: took cup to sink, used loo for one tinkle, washed and dried Era then read my daily Bible passages before popping online.
- Tonight's ice cream night, yay! Like I say every week, a very little's better than none @ all!
- Toms: TBA which carer's helping me up then taking me to the NAB for two hours' physio with Vincent but I've emailed Michelle and hopefully she'll reply soon.
- That carer will see me home, showered and fed with lunch before Ari comes to give Ela one hour of unfunctional exercises @ like 2:30pm.
- Don't think I've got anything happening after she leaves; looking forward to reading the Carmody book for another hour then watching the 6pm news bulletin for the 168TH time, provided I can watch it for the 167TH time tonight!
- Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing end to the week toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
