Heylo and good evening again! Firstly, Em's new plodding total for Saturday now stands @ 2123 (See? Told you I'd pass two grand! XD) and secondly, Joni's devotional topic's 'Developing Endurance' but thirdly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ELEVEN MINUTES online while I'm ringing Aunty Lai @ 9pm!! Hence why I'll keep the speaker on and continue surfing the net while we're chatting. Righteo, continuing today's events?
- PIG mum beginning her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs wakes me for one more pot :P trip around 9am; soon, she's let her into my room to hit me with the eye goo and inform me that the Socceroos were knocked outta the World Cup by Egypt this morning. I made a mental note to thank dad for not venting his sadness @ the loss and letting me sleep. XD
- After PIG mum lets Jane inside @ 9:30am, Jane knocks, pushes the door open and says "Good norming Em; fifteen more minutes." She's gone the moment Daddy Bear flops his paw in acknowledgement and denies him the chance to imperiously flick his paw 'shoo!' @ her. XD
- Once I've counted down from 900 I swing myself over to the pot :P for one more tinkle and we get me kitted before I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. After drinking one tall cup of water, I sit over the loo proper. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Jane.
- Breakfast is my once-weekly fried egg on one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast with another tall cup of water, all my usual drugs :P and my first big mug of white tea sweetened with one spoonful of honey. Over and after breakfast I happily read for thirty minutes first up.
- While I use the loo for one more tinkle, Jane closes and locks windows. After I climb into the passenger seat of Sally the Stonic, Jane tootles us off to Underwood MarketPlace, parks underground and grabs a trolley for us.
- I only buy 2L of milk and Jane doesn't need anything since her partner's buying groceries today. But yay she lets me sit on the self-serve checkout while she's paying for me; on the way to buy sushi we even bump into Aunty Anne and Mid Chow!
- Back home, I take a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Jane who helps me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch is one bowl of the delicious fried rice I cooked with Ari yesterday (unfortunately further topped with vegetables; unsure why?) and two more big mugs of white tea sweetened with one spoonful of honey. Over and after lunch I happily continued reading, reaching pg. 375 @ 11:58am.
- I use the loo for two more tinkles before Jane tootles me off to church to play table tennis with dearest dad. Since there's time, I sit over the loo for one more tinkle on arrival. Jane clocks off two minutes early and is heading up to Sunshine Coast tonight to spend the weekend with her parents, her siblings and their kids! I'll see her again next Wednesday for table tennis~
- Dad lets me win today, meaning I don't haveta tell PIG mum to bok him for me, even though I copped seven/eight body shots from him! >< XD
- Back home I used the loo for one more tinkle then sat down to enjoy my honey chicken sushi roll, drink one huge mug of herbal tea and read for another one hour and fifty-five minutes, since it's only Saturdays that I can spend a blessed three hours reading This afternoon, I reached pg. 400 @ 3:04pm and FINISHED THE BOOK five minutes later! Huge thanks to Jane/whichever carer who'd grabbed me a new book to read; one by Isobelle Carmody. I loved her Obernewtyn (sp?) series when I was little! Oh, it's titled Come The Night. Acknowledgements for the book was finished @ 3:20pm and EVERYTHING finished one minute later!
- Reading for three hours done, I helped PIG mum with her cooking, used the loo for one tinkle then popped online and did my daily Bible readings before plopping online for myself.
Cheers,
Em. ^^
