Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4193 steps (sweet I'm already over four thousand steps; that doesn't happen very often!); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Grace Denied And Supplied'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Soul Care' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'A Deaf Heart'. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 5th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:20am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Pearl and I happily cuddled and snored, me waking once more for the pot :P around 9am. Shortly afterwards, PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs and soon she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help exceedingly slightly with absolutely nothing but the bra strap before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum returns to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Breakfast is one bowl of the less-yummy (so sticky) bird food (what Dr. Ku calls All-Bran XD) very lightly sprinkled with some Minus :P with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very thinly spread with some avocado and hopefully sprinkled with some salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the bathroom, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- That done, I wash and dry Era, climb into the backseat of dad's car and buckle my own seatbelt.
- First, dad tootles us off to the Bunnings along Compton Rd.; it's MASSIVE! Even their shopping trolleys are more heavy-duty than your standard ones @ Woolies/Coles; there's an extra rack @ the bottom to store things!
- Dad buys two huge tins of paint (10/15L @ least); @ the checkouts, instead of lifting the item onto the counter for scanning, the cashier walks around with a handheld scanner! Not only that, before you leave some woman checks your receipt and peers into your car boot to ensure you've not nicked anything!
- Our other stop's the Warrigal Square Woolies for more groceries~
- Back home, I use the loo for one more tinkle and then walk myself slowly and safely to the gobbling :P table, always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- For lunch we have fried dumplings; dumplings are my FAVOURITE food! :D PIG mum also added lotsa carrots and normal lettuce into the bowl and thanks to Aunty Irene for making the dumplings!
- Lunch was washed down with one not very yummy mug of some kinda bush honey sth; after taking the cup over to the sink I used the loo for one tinkle and then walked myself slowly and safely back online, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming
hatred and not letting Him push me over.
- Daisy's minding me from 4-6pm today; looking forward to reading for one hour and then fingers crossed I can watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 6th time!
- Toms: unfortunately the first GCCW for 2035's been cancelled; hopefully PIG mum'll help me up shortly after 9am and take me aisle walking somewhere else expect a super-pissy plodding total from me.
- But Deb's coming @ 4pm; after I shower she's taking me to the first book club for 2025!
Anyways, hopefully bbl afterwards else hope everyone's having a smashing week!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
