Friday Post 512

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 5030 steps (sweet I'm already just over half a normal person; that's rare!); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Life Hangs On The Word Of God'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'How To Become Generous (2)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Beauty Out Of Tragedy'. Anyways, events for today?

  • Aww, the best way to end the working week: awesome sleep last night! One of my favourite things about the warmer months is how early the Sun will rise! Nature didn't call until  5:35am and after one pot :P  trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Since dad stayed @ home this morning and didn't leave for anywhere around 7:45am, Daddy Bear and I happily cuddled and snored all the way until just after 9am before PIG mum's noisy daily a-THUMPING around upstairs awoke me for another pot :P trip! Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and give poor Elf a very brief rub since she'd totally ignored my poor foot last night (don't worry, Era rubbed her for fifteen minutes and let her wear her sock to sleep last night) before returning outside and waiting for Damaris' arrival @ 8am.
  • After PIG mum lets Damaris in, she instructs Damaris to gimme fifteen more minutes. That given, Daddy Bear waves her away; when she comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom to brush teeth before sitting over   the bathroom for one tinkle. After washing and drying Era, I head out   to the gobbling :P table with Damaris.
  • Breakfast is one delicious bowl of flaky Special K cereal layered with sliced strawberries with one slice of dry  (unbuttered) toast spread with avocado and lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*

  • After breakfast, Damaris accompanies me back to the bathroom before returning to the kitchen and washing up my breakfast dishes. Over the loo proper I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!

  • After washing and drying Era, I sit on   the chair beside the front door and Damaris lathers my face and hands with sunscreen before I climb into the passenger seat of her car.

  • Damaris tootles me off to the NAB for the final session this block!

  • Physio today: Hiked the Great Court once, five rounds of standing blaze pods and seven rounds stepping on and off an uneven surface before coming back. No NAB physio next week since it's orientation and none the week after since it's some public holiday but I'm back the week after that.

  • After sitting over the loo for two more tinkles Damaris tootled me home and I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Damaris who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.

  • Dried, creamed and rekitted, for lunch Damaris made me a toasted tuna in tomato and onion toastie with TWO cheese and even found the honey/golden syrup to make me one big mug of white tea!

  • I sat over the loo for one more tinkle before saying my thanks and byes to her; I'll see her again tomorrow morning @ 9:30am!

  • When nature suddenly called @ 2:55pm, I walked myself once slowly and safely to the loo for one tinkle and back, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.

  • Reprieve: poor Syn's unwell and can't give Ela OT this arvo! Got the Whatsapp from PIG mum after finishing physio~ Unsure will next week be cooking with Dorrie/will Syn come back?

  • Once I've used up the most important two hours of the day I'll use the loo for one tinkle, sit and read Nine Perfect Strangers for one hour and wait for PIG mum to gimme some arvo tea.

  • Hoping to watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 185TH time!

  • The Storm are playing the Sharks tonight ... should I watch?

  • Toms: Damaris will come back 9:30am till 1:30pm. Presuming I'll buy my arvo  tea sushi roll with her, come home for a shower, lunch and two more big mugs of white tea with one big spoonful of golden syrup.

  • Also presuming I'll play table tennis with dearest dad @ church toms arvo; must remember to find some WTT YouTube clips to watch!

  • Hoping to read Nine Perfect Strangers for  THREE HOURS toms;   willing to skip watching the  6pm news for the 186TH time for that!

  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing  weekend ahead!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
