Tuesday Post 341

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've  been hard @ work plodding 2958 steps (so promise I'll have reached 3000 before Tuesday ends XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Rejoicing In Pain'; thirdly, TWFTT topic's 'Has God Given You A Good Idea?' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's  devotional topic's 'Praying For Answers'. Anyways, events for today?

  • Aww, nature called around 12:30am last night. Following the first daylight pot LP trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking again for the pot :P again around 9:00am. About fifteen minutes later,  dearest dad lets himself into my room, kisses me awake and gives me some eye goo before heading back outside awaiting Peggy's arrival.
  • I count down from 900 before Peggy arrives and expect to be ordered to get up once she knocks but instead get another fifteen more minutes, score!
  • The second 900 counted down from, I swing myself over to the pot :P  for one more tinkle and announce to Peggy "I'm hungry!" She comes, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth (thanks to Peggy who squirts me some toothpaste). Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era then head out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy, who tells me  that she had two fried eggs for breakfast today.
  • Me, for breakfast I get one/two  dry (no honey) Weet-Bix very lightly sprinkled with some Minus :P), one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread with avocado  and sprinkled with salt, all my usual  drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After breakfast, Peggy lathers me with sunscreen then walks behind me back to the bathroom before returning to the kitchen and washing the breakfast stuff up. Over the loo, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into the backseat of Auto (pronounced Alto) and Peggy  tootles me off to Pinelands Plaza, parking outside Coles and grabbing a trolley for us.
  • We both  buy groceries from Coles and then I sit on the self-serve checkout machine and chat with Vicki while Peggy scans our items.
  • Our other stop's the Sunnybank  Hills Shoppingtown  library. There was a side park available just beside the  entrance; unfortunately, Peggy refuses to park along the side since she's afraid other cars will hit and damage Auto hence why she  parked @ the other end and grabbed a trolley for us.
  • After using the loo for one tinkle, we were heading into the library when I saw Nobody's Girl, the memoir by Virginia Giuffre (sp?)! I grabbed that, found a squashy armchair to plop into then sat  and read that happily for nearly one hour while Peggy went and did her own grocery shopping.
  • Before coming home, Peggy even  drove me around to visit 4 Sunrise Cl! Actually, that's my first twenty years post, not the brain injury!
  • Back home I took my quickest possible shower -  hairwash today. Also  thanks to Peggy  who  helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and rekitted lunch was my crunchy pork bahn mi plus one mug of unsweetened white tea; I enjoyed my one meal this week  to eat lazily. XD
  • At 1:55pm I sat over the loo once more for two tinkles then signed Peggy off with my  thanks and byes @ 2pm. She's back same time next week.
  • PIG mum has already bugged me about getting offline; will do so once I've used up the most important two hours of my day first.
  • Rotten PIG mum has cancelled the shift Lorraine has with me; originally we were going to watch a movie together! >< *sigh*
  •  Toms: hopefully PIG mum helps me up not too late and takes me for walkies somewhere since Jane's not taking me to table tennis until 1:30pm and I can't source a ride to GG toms night so perhaps expect a super-pissy plodding total from me?
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing  everyone a smashing Wednesday ahead!
    Cheers,
    Em.   ^^
