Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3927 steps (*so will surely have cracked four grand before the day's out XD); secondly, John piper's devotional topic from last night's "God's Grace In Spiritual Gifts"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Become Willing To Change (3)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's "By God's Truth" but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FORTY-NINE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 128TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 5th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 8:00am (suppose I was tired from plodding more than 7.5 thousand steps yesterday) and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P when woken by PIG mum's daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. After the 2nd pot :P trip, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- PIG mum lets herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before letting the new carer inside @ 9:30am. The roster said Olivia, but some new African carer called Sharon came?
- After I'd had fifteen more minutes, I used the pot :P for one more tinkle, got kitted and then went over to the bathroom and brushed teeth. That done, I drink one full cup of water and sit over the loo proper. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I head out to the gobbling :P table with Sharon. Breakfast's my once-weekly fried egg on one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast very lightly spread with avocado, one full mug of water, all my usual drugs :P and one mug of white tea sweetened with one big teaspoonful of honey. Over and after breakfast I happily read for thirty minutes first up, reaching pg. 222 @ 10:22am and finishing pg. 225 @ 10:27am.
- While Sharon closes and locks windows I use the loo for one more tinkle, wash and dry Era and then climb into her car's passenger seat. Thanks to Sharon who helps me buckle my seatbelt all day.
- Sharon parks out the front @ Underwood MarketPlace and grabs a trolley for us. Since PIG mum didn't want any groceries from Woolies, we just bought sushi from food court: I got myself a honey chicken one for arvo tea and Sharon got a teriyaki chicken one for lunch; can you believe it? She's NEVER tried eating sushi before!
- Back home, I took a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Sharon who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, for lunch Sharon made me a tuna in tomato and onion toastie with TWO cheese, HEAVILY buttered and using dad's RAISIN toast! I also scull two more big mugs of white tea sweetened with one big spoonful of honey and happily continue reading, reaching pg. 250 @ 12:11pm.
- Before Sharon tootles me off to play table tennis with dearest dad, I sit over the loo for two more tinkles.
Cheers,
Em. ^^
