Thursday Post 514

 Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1821 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Sin, Satan, Sickness/Sabotage' (sounds familiar?); thirdly, TWFT topic's 'The Bible And Your Investments (2)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Repurposed By God'. Anyways, events for today?

•  Grr, I'd just started a four-night awesome sleep streak but nature ruined it immediately this morning around 12:30am! >< *sigh* Never mind; 'twas still a sound sleep aside from that~
• Once nature  called again following the Sun's rising,  after another pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh* Era also peeled   Elf's sock off., lol, last night was the 5TH CONSECUTIVE NIGHT Elf got to wear her sock to sleep since PIG mum couldn't be bothered to give her a rub~ ><  XD
• Mini Pearl and I happily cuddled and snored, me waking again for the pot :P when dearest dad came and kissed me bye and retucked me back into bed before heading off somewhere for work.
• More happy snoring for Mini Pearl and me, me waking once more for the pot :P when noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and give poor Elf a very brief rub after totally ignoring her last night.
• Once Karina announces her arrival, PIG mum opens the door for her. Karina knocks, pushes open the door and murmurs good morning, Emily;  hitt the snooze button for fifteen more minutes ..." Mini Pearl nods her away and she immediately obeys; phew, since Pearl's anatomically incapable of giving the Bear Bum. XD'
• When Karina comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Karina who's already squirted some toothpaste for me.
• Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era then head out to the gobbling :P  table with Karina, who says she'll currently undergoing some peach detox!  Wonder how that works?
• Breakfast is one bowl of the less yummy (ie sticky) bird food (what Dr. Ku calls All-Bran) :P very lightly sprinkled with some Minus :P, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
• After breakfast, Karina lathers me with sunscreen then accompanies me back to the bathroom before returning to the kitchen and washing up the breakfast stuff. Over the loo proper, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
• After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Karina's car and Karina tootles us off to Coles Rochedale to buy groceries. Thanks to her who kindly helped me buckle my seatbelt both ways.
• At Coles, we both buy groceries. Thanks to Karina who lemme sit on the self-serve checkout machine while she scanned our items; Peggy lets me sit too; unsure why the parents don't? Mostly I was just cranky @ horrid PIG mum for not letting Karina grab lunch with me from Ho Lin Wah today; that means it's been ONE WHOLE WEEK since I've last enjoyed a proper meal out! *sigh*
• Back home, I took a nice warm   shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Karina who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
• Dried, creamed and  rekitted, lunch is one tuna in tomato and onion  toastie with   TWO cheese, HEAVILY buttered (on the inside) and one big mug of powdered HK-style milk tea. Karina brought homemade chicken wraps for lunch!
• One tinkle for me before I sign Karina off with my thanks and byes; she's back same time next week but not leaving till like 3:30pm? Presume I've got physio then~
• Dad's out working this arvo and PIG mum's on hold somewhere~
• Fingers crossed I can watch the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 214TH time!
• Tonight's ice cream night, yay! Like I always say, a very little's better than none @ all~
• Tomorrow: it's Halloween! Gabby's minding me from 9:30am till 1pm and score, I don't have physio! One good thing about down with the cold: I've been released from physio this week! XD Presuming we'll buy groceries for my cooking session with Dorrie after Gabby leaves.
• Looking forward to eating whatever I'm cooking for arvo tea, reading for one hour, enjoying my most important two hours of the day online and watching the 6pm news for   the 215TH time!
• Actually, no! Need to finalise and submit my GCCW competition entry!
• Anyways, hope fully bbl,  else  wishing everyone a smashing  end to the week toms!
