Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3100 steps (ha, I'm over three grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Marvel Of Creation'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Transformed From Trash Into Treasure' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Choosing Life'. but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed TWENTY-ONE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Seven's) for the 185TH time!! Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 4th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:30am, and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- When the doorbell awakens me about one hour later I'm curious who's knocking but when suddenly my bedroom door opened and dearest dad strode in, did I realise he'd returned; I'd thought he'd not arrive until tonight! I immediately stood up, smothered him with hugs and kisses and wrapped both arms around him; dad gently sat me back down, retucked me back into bed and said I'm heading upstairs to sleep myself.
- PIG mum opens the front door for Peggy @ 9:30. Peggy knocks my bedroom, door, opens it and calls out good morning. When I wave Pearl @ her, she next announces fifteen more minutes. After another nod from Pearl she thankfully removes herself; phew, since Pearl's anatomically incapable of giving the Bear Bum!
- When Peggy comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom to brush teeth (thanks to Peggy who squirted some toothpaste for me). That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then head out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy, who told me she had her usual two eggs for breakfast.
- My breakfast one yummy bowl of Minus :P and Just Wrong :P with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast spread with avocado and sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water.
Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, Peggy accompanies me back to the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After I wash and dry Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Auto (pronounced Alto) and Peggy tootles us off to Calamvale Central and parks underground before grabbing a trolley for us.
- First we both buy groceries from Woolies and then we buy fresh produce from the Mega Discount Fruit Market. That done, we sit outside and munch a delicious cheese and ham croissant each before Peggy continues extra fruit and vegetable shopping; she came back with a tray of mangoes!
- Back home I take my quickest shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse my hair out, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, lunch is one delicious tuna with tomato and onion toastie, HEAVILY buttered and one delicious mug of white tea sweetened with one spoonful of honey. Peggy cleans the bathroom while I eat and play the HP version of Bejeweled: my new record: today I've passed FOURTEEN levels!!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
