Monday Post 626

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3270 steps; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic' from last night's "When I'm Anxious"; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Prepare For The Next Phase' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Christ-Based Connection'. Anyways, events for today?

  • Nature called once @ 12:35am; after another pot :P  trip following the Sun's rising I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Mini Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking for another pot :P trip around 9am, shortly before dearest dad comes to kiss me good morning and gimme some eye goo.
  • After dad lets Kelly inside @ 9:30am, Kelly/dad knocks, opens the door and says good morning. Mini Pearl nods good morning back and then gives the 'shoo' motion. Kelly laughs and says I'll come back fifteen minutes later and help yoou up, okay? Mini Pearl repeats the nod and shoo motion and Kelly thankfully withdraws; phew, since Mini Pearl's anatomically incapable of giving the Bear Bum! XD
  • When Kelly returns, I use the loo for one more tinkle and we get me kitted, before I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era then head out to the gobbling :P table with Kelly, who tells me she ate Vegemite toast for breakfast, eww. XD
  • For my breakfast, I have one bowl of healthy cereal with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast lightly spread with avocado and lightly sprinkled with salt, all my usual drugs :P and one delicious mug of vanilla chai sweetened with only half a teaspoonful of sugar. I'd prefer two teaspoonfuls, but hey. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After breakfast, Kelly slathers my face and hands with sunscreen before walking behind me back to the toilet then returning to the kitchen and washing up the breakfast dishes. Over the loo, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Kelly's car and she tootles me off to see Ray for some acupuncture and massage. Thanks to Kelly who kindly helps me buckle my seatbelt all day.
  • Ray collects me @ the front gate and we tell Kelly  cya in one hour. Inside the granny flat, I use the loo for one tinkle and then lie down for some massage and acupuncture. Today was the first time Elf's thigh felt that the massage was very comfortable; 'twas also very nice getting to have a proper conversation with him without PIG mum yapping her head off @ him. XD Next month, his family's taking holidays @ New Zealand's South Island!
  • After using the loo for another tinkle, Ray walked with me back out to where Kelly was waiting and I said my thanks and byes.
  • Our other stop was Sunnybank Hills for buying groceries @ ALDI. Kelly parked across the road along level two and got a trolley for us. I walked with her down the length of the supermarket then braced against the end freezer shelf and asked Kelly to please go find where the groceries and then come back and take me to get them. While she was gone, I softly, slowly but most hatefully sang 20% of my shorter second-favourite song out aloud, closing the left eye for all the important number, since I wouldn't need to sing during the shower later.
  • Groceries bought, Kelly tootled me home and I took a nice warm shower -  hairwash today. Also thanks to Kelly who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and rekitted lunch was one bowl of tasteless rice leftovers all covered with boiled vegetables and just one tiny piece of delicious pork @ the bottom but yay Kelly made me another big mug of delicious vanilla chai with milk~
  • At 1:25pm I sat over the loo once more for two tinkles and then @ 1:30pm I signed Kelly off with my thanks and byes. She's back this Sunday.
  • Lorraine's minding me from 4-6pm today. Looking forward to reading the book club novel for another hour and fingers crossed I can watch the 6pm news bulletin for the 228TH time afterwards!
  • Actually, unsure: will Angelica come 3:45pm till 5:45pm/Lorraine from 4-6pm? Doesn't bother me; as long as somebody comes! XD
  • Toms: Peggy's minding me from 9:30am till 4pm. Presume we're buying my once-weekly crunchy pork bahn mi for lunch before Peggy takes me to the NAB for physio from 1-2.
  • Peggy will see me home and showered before leaving @ 4pm; looking forward to reading the book club novel for another hour and then watching the 6pm news bulletin for the 229TH time!
  • Anyways, hopefully bbl, else wishing everyone a smashing day toms!
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
