Tuesday Post 514

Good afternoon!  Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3881 steps today (so might have hit 4000 before the day ends?); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'The Meaning Of Suffering'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'How Your Faith Can Produce Results (4)' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'God Hears Our Prayers' but fifthly and way most importantly I'm really still owed FORTY-SIX MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news (Nine's) for the 219TH time!! Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, 5th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until  6:20am, and after one pot :P    trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Daddy Bear and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking again for the pot :P around 9am before Peggy arrives @ 9:30am to help me up after giving me fifteen more minutes first.
  • After she comes back, I use the pot :P for one more tinkle, we get me kitted and then I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Thanks to Peggy who's kindly squirted some toothpaste for me. Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era then head out to the gobbling :P table with Peggy who told me that she had her usual two fried eggs for breakfast this morning.
  • For my breakfast, I munched a bowl of some healthy cereal that wasn't All-Bran, popped all my usual drugs :P and drank one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • Breakfast finished, Peggy lathers my face and hands with sunscreen before accompanying me back to the bathroom then returning to the kitchen and washing up the breakfast dishes, etc. Over the loo, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into the passenger seat of Auto (pronounced Alto), Peggy kindly helps me with my seatbelt (thanks to her who does that all day) and then she tootles us off to Pinelands Plaza.
  • After grabbing a trolley for us, we both buy groceries from Coles before I buy my once-weekly crunchy pork  bahn mi from Aunty Nancy @ Pinelands Bakehouse.
  • Back home, I use the loo for one tinkle then sit down and enjoy my delicious crunchy  bahn mi for lunch, plus one huge mug of white tea sweetened with two teaspoonfuls of honey.
  • Unsure why dad ordered I leave for NAB physio @ 12:10pm when my appointment isn't till 1pm; usually I leave @ 12:30pm (twenty minutes later)? No sweat, after arriving very early we just sat in the car and played with our mobiles before heading upstairs @ 12:50pm. I used the loo once for two tinkles before sitting in the waiting room with all the other clients.
  • My two new students are both GEMS and Taiwanese girls! Athena is (from memory) the name of some Greek goddess and Tam says she remembers me from the beginning of the year! Athena's the missed one block while taking holidays and Tam replied family reasons when I asked her how come she's doing this replacement block and obviously I didn't ask any further!
  • Physio today: Five rounds standing blaze pods with left weight, three rounds standing boxing and thirty double leg pushups on tower of power.
  • After sitting over the loo for two tinkles Peggy tootled me home and I took a nice warm shower -  hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
  • Dried, creamed and rekitted, Peggy made me a sumptuous  arvo  tea of three small Ritz/Jatz crackers, and 1.5 plain rice crackers spread with raspberry jam plus another huge mug of white tea sweetened with two teaspoonfuls of honey.
    Cheers,
    Em.  ^^
