thursday post

good evening! TWFT topic is 'get more sleep' and today, em was hard at work plodding 1944 steps. now, PIG mum's only allowing poor em to stay online for one hour tonight, so toms, i'll get back THREE hours. don't worry, i shall not forget. so, just quickly, what happened today?
-stinky unspeakable this morning, followed by a breakfast of a crunchy choc chip museli bar and a mug of warm milo.
-PIG mum tootled us off to UQ for physio, listening to rush of fools.
-i went to the loo on arrival.
-georgiais back today. :) think the poor thing had a stomach bug?
-UQ physio today: lotsa sit-to-stands, some stepping, finishing with a forced lap or two along the hallway.
-cool things - letty came to visit, and kat gave me a GIANT cookie!!^^ she says she bought it from some vietnamese bakery very close to the uni.
-marianna picked me up from UQ! so she tootled us off to QUT, gardens point campus, to meet will.
-sctually, we met one of marianna's workmates there! marg - short for margaret.
-exy lunch, whoa! i got a BBQ chicken and bacon pizza, chips with aoli, and a shake - that all totalled up to be TWENTY bucks! prolly why i went to UQ, not QUT. couldn't afford it, see. :p
-marianna and i went for a roll around the gardens, as will and marg went to see a nurse.
-oh, and i picked up will's wallet for him when he dropped it. so next time we meet, he owes me an ice-cream. :P
-we said bye to will and marg, then going back to marianna's car ... got lost! >< so we ended up asking this security guard for directions - he was actually really nice and led us all the way back to marianna's car. :)
-marianna said she was hungry and drove us to a petrol station on logan road. she Forced me to walk in, then returned with a green tea for me (i sucked the teabag once :P) and a sausage roll and some drink for herself.
-she tootled us back home. karen had already arrived!
-a nice hot shower - no hairwash today.
-karen Forced me to walk to her car, and off she tootled us to logan north library for our book club!
-she got out sparkless for me on arrival, and we wheeled me in.
-karen kindly made me a cuppa, white and two, then left us to it.
-book club started! lol, i can't remember if the woman's last name is pronounced 'lock' or 'loch'. it's spelt loch, though.
-so we shared about the book (everyone else) and asked ignorant questions (me :P). thanks to a lady - margaret? who unwrapped me 2 lollies to suck on.
-the book we're doing next month is mao's last dancer! so i'll try get started on that toms.
-after book club, i borrowed that book, karen took me once to the loo, then we went through the red rooster drive-thru for dinner. i got the real bacon burger combo with an orange juice, karen got the fisherman's pack with a coke zero.
-karen tootled us home. i signed her off, said my byes and thanks. she'll be back next thursday, and is planning to chuck a sickie from her BP station toms. :P
-i waddled :P over to cuddle dearest dad hello, then tootled online, also copping my weekly tirade from both parents. oh well.
-well, i'm over the single hour that PIG mum allowed me, so i'd better hop to bed. toms i'm off to your :p turn, then off to the coffee club for lunch with mrs dent! will try for that again toms, fingers crossed!
